3rd-3rd Round Pick -DUNKER

Max and Dunk; our OL just got younger and really big. Dunk will be starting at LG before the end of the season.

A bit surprised they didn't go DT with the pick, but I like Dunker. He's an old school type of player.

I love him when he shoots out forward. Problem is, when you watch the NFL these days, offensive linemen "fire out" only about 20% of all plays. As an old school fart from the 1970's, I hate it to watch big uglies always move backwards on the snap, but that's just the stupid modern game now.

He's definitely moving inside and it will all be about how good he is on moving backwards, sideways and how he hands off players/works with the guys around him.

I certainly like the pick. Even after the OT in round 1, I wanted a guard in round 3.

Starter material right away,.?

He looks the part of a Steeler

Maybe he can unlock Kaleb Johnson’s potential…if the kid can get any reps behind Dowdle/Warren

At any rate, a guard was needed and obtained.
One of the better guards in the draft imho

This guy seems like he was meant to be a Steeler. Old school, hard worker and seems like a likeable ,natural leader. If he plays well he's gonna sell alot of Jerseys.

He's already been wearing the proper color scheme..lol.

I like that they're addressing the OL. I'd figure they snatch DL guys today and best players available.

He finishes blocks. A desirable trait.

He and Frazier should get along great

Him, Max and Frazier should be fun to watch
Campen has some history of developing OL as well. The Steelers committed to the bit and just need to run with the young OL. At this point, do the same for QB even if it means starting the season out with Mason.

He is kinda like a Brett Keisel on the offensive line

And mullet hats.

They must know more about Jones than they are letting on. A few weeks ago, there was no need to double-dip on the OL at all. Even now, they have Frazier, McCormick, and Fautanu locked in. Their 1st round pick is a RT so I'm not sure where Fautanu will move to, but there really is no reason to move him. Dunker played both T positions but is expected to move inside. Not sure where or when yet.

I liked this pick and think he will be a nice addition, plus having a competent OL Coach will play a huge part in this kids development as well as Maxs’.
