4th and 1. Tomlin opts to punt.

I say that because after a decade of mediocrity we have now taken the step towards full trash (what we use to think of the Bengals and Browns). Tomlin will get a couple wins, maybe even good wins, before the year is over.

Remember how we used to root for the Bungles and the Clowns to keep their ****** head coaches?

Bungles and Clowns fans root for us to keep Tomlin.

they decide to keep Ben in the game. weird but ok. why take Harris out?

Just a very poorly coached team, watching the defense just run around, engage with players, literally no desire to tackle, stop a play is laughable
Offense is lead by a OC with no NFL sense, old checked out QB, and players with no winning motivation
But hey, Coach Jibber Jabber says they'll get on it this week...just like after the Detroit loss, Chargers loss....
The Standard
Start a new now , time for a big change in HC & QB & DE.

Harris is trending on being a bad pick, not because he's average but because he has no one blocking for him. And yes he's average. When was the last time you saw a big play out of him? Should have taken or traded down in round one. We need help everywhere and we have a ton of free agents.

It's really sad...the whole situation. It's a mess from the top and if Najee gets severely hurt, well then just **** everything. I get the feeling Najee will try his best to pull this **** out of the dumpster fire, but if we somehow manage to win past today it'll be a miracle. The Rats will come at us HARD.

He didn't have the best game today, but he is anything but average.

If I had a say in the matter, I would force Mike Tomlin to change his password to "CreedHumphrey."

"Oooh, the TE they drafted in the 2nd round is so ******* good."

Yeah, sure. Every time I see another NT or DT in the backfield, I think to myself, "Self, good thing we have that TE to operate as a decoy when we throw another wasted WR screen on 3rd and 14 after yet another running play blown up in the backfield and a sack when Kendrick 'Backpedal' Green is pushed into Ben's lap. Again."

Harris was the final piece of the puzzle type pick, not a we need to rebuild the offensive line pick. It's nothing against the player, just the position.

At least they ran some clock by running it up the middle on first and second down.

Tomlin is brilliantly working on the "taking a knee" on 1st down then going quick-kick on 2nd down! Announcers will exclaim, "Oh my God, NOBODY was expecting that!" and immediately pronounce Mike Tomlin the most genius of geniuses ever to coach an NFL game!

The players have to be in a tough spot. There is no way they can't see through the lameness of leadership, yet have to show up and play it out. That has to suck. No wonder Ingram wanted out and Tuitt isn't returning.

Tomlin is such a good coach he should go coach the Lions or the Jags and show everyone just how good he is.

A ******* cotton candy vendor could do a better job coaching this team.

I rail on Coach as much as anybody, but I don't know if he's celebrating the loss as much as he's pointing out the absolute idiocy on display.
No that is the only time he shows up when he can talk ****. Even if his message makes sense it gets clouded by his ever revolving agendas. Steelers need a retool of their coaches and cooch is a tool.

But literally half this board wants Tomlin gone and has that agenda. The Coach hate is way overblown on this board.

I disagree. I don't see their Tomlin dislike as agenda. They are here celebrating after wins. They just feel it is time for a change. Cooch on the other hand isn't celebrating wins. He is a huge tool who has earned everything he had been slammed with.

Either way, his football posts--as limited as they may be to start--end up getting trolled for no reason.

The reason is his **** is stale, his chest beating is stale. His posts get slammed as he is a forever revolving tool. For me he is the worst kind of fan. Lacking intelligence and cocky mixed in with habitual agenda with crickets when the team does manage to do well. Perhaps if he limits that approach he wouldn't get slammed as much. But the guy has no desire to change. I don't feel bad for twatwaffles they get no sympathy from me.

41-3 Ben still out there

No ****, this is Red-nose time

NOT a chance in "Release Hell" we were ever making a come-back...................

The ******* guy managed to tie the 0-10-1 Detroit Lions at home.

Again, I ask, why are we surprised at how bad the team is? Tomlin reminds me of Alexander the Great's quotation, "I don't fear an army of lions led by a lamb; I fear an army of lambs led by a lion."

Mike Tomlin - the ultimate lamb, who deserves to coach the woeful Detroit Lions.

Dang that's a good quote, I'm going to use that in the future. Discribes things well.

Ok now that's just dumb. Harris is a ******* beast, with heart. Dude fights for every yard dragging defenders with him. Unfortunately he has no openings to run thru and has to do it on his own.
If he had a decent line in front of him I think this offense would be night and day different.

Which is why virtually no runningbacks takem in the first round win a super bowl with the team that drafts them.

Yeah you might get a beast in the first round, but running back is the easiest position to fill and if ypu have a line even average rbs look good… good runblocking teams like the browns put their third stringer in and he looks great…

Runningbacks are injury prone due to wear and tear, and they have the shortest careers… first round rbs are a luxury… you build from the two lines out… the only exception is take a franchise qb any time you have a shot at one…

Honestly it would have been better to trade down into the bottom of the first or top of tge second, take one of the top centers, and take a rb with the extra third you get…

The Steelers get too enamored with guys and they totally abandoned the Dan rooney / Chuck Noll way of drafting that got them to be perennial winners

Honestly this feels like when I really started watching football during the end of noll in the 80’s…

How deep in Bengal's territory were we? Their 20 or 30? I didn't get to see the game.
