The offense. I think it is pretty self explanatory.what is the excuse for the extremely conservative defensive game plan

Who exactly puts that staff together?I'm not a hater, just finally came to the realization the coaching staff has been subpar for a long time.
The media is wildly out of touch and the Ownership likes what they hear.I'm tired of the lack of postseason success while everyone in the media points to the coach as an amazing coach.
He seems like an amazing human being and a great role model for what young men should beIt seems like Tomlin is a good guy
Welcome to the group, we were formed in 2015I'm questioning more critically these days his ability to coach and develop a team that can compete at least occasionally with the best teams in the league.
I don’t actually think the drafting has been awful, as there have been numerous players picked who do not fall in the category of “awful”It's been years of similar results with poor drafting, poor developing, poor coaching staff, poor game and clock management and poor game preparation with similar blame and excuses.
He was a DEI hire, which I was not against, he showed promise. He was given a quality team and a Defensive coaching staff one dreams about. He was allowed to use those training wheels to get started and learn with. When he was given control to do his thing, he showed that he had reached his ceiling. At that point they should have moved on but Ownership doesn’t like the optics of doing so.At some point, the top guy has to be held accountable and can't just pass on the blame to everyone else. Especially, the more we learn about his control of both the defense and offense.
I hope you are prepared for another underwhelming season of hope but no real success. Like it or not Tomlin will go when HE decides to go, Ownership is too afraid that they may not improve on the current C+ to B- Head Coach.Hopefully, this year the team does great and things change. Until that happens, the rinse and repeat the last decade plus has become tiresome.
I’m with you here Drink. I really like Jaxon Dart from Ole Miss. I think he’s plenty mobile, has a strong enough arm, good size and no he doesn’t have Kenny’s tiny baby hands. Actually they said his hands measured out first or second largest over 9”.
I think they would have to take him in the first round though. They have no second as you know and he’s not going to be there in the third.
As for the development part. Yikes! Who is going to do that?
Why??
If they do this here's what I think of our braintrust:
Why not just call back Ben?
And an effective OL. TWO first rounders, a couple of other FAs in fairly high regard and what do we have to show for it? One of the worst OLs in the NFL.He wasn't very good, but given how the Steelers have been investing in the OL and then added a stud WR1, Pickett shouldn't have bailed last year. They're putting in work to building an offense for a young QB, they're just missing the young QB.
Because the front office is full of a bunch of dumb *** ******* mall walkers. Not sure why they sacrificed a high draft pick and valuable cap space for a premier WR without securing a QB first.
Even if Wilson comes back our OL still needs work, lots of it.
Mason Rudolph says "Here Myles hold my helmet and my beer."I'm guessing they think they aren't very far away from contending for a SB. Apparently they don't watch their own tape. I don't know if it is ownership, the FO, the coach or all three, but they are sure making a mess. I mean, Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson are your two best options, and there's a scenario where they could end up with neither. Then what?
Almost all overall rankings I have seen have them in the middle of the pack. Not bad for a group that couldn’t keep the same lineup from week to week. As young as they were and beat up they have a lot of potential. Lineman can take years to truly develop. If healthy they will be top half to top 10.And an effective OL. Not to mention playing out of position.Almost all overall rankings I have seen have them in the middle of the pack. Not bad for a group that couldn’t keep the same lineup from week to week.
