Preliniary reports are that X-Rays on the ankle were negative but that's the good news. The bad news is they believe Aaron Rogers has a Torn Achilles tendon and Head Coach Robert Saleh indicated so in his post game when asked if it was his Achilles he said "It's not Good". Indicating preliminary reports that Rogers indeed has a serious Achilles injury. MRI tomorrow will confirm what they suspect but if you watch the replay you can see his left foot firmly on the turf and his ankle and leg entended forward towards his toes which would put tremendous pressure on his achilles and it most likely tore at that point.
Met Life Stadium is a newer stadium but there is a history of season ending injuries occuring on that field.....WTF hasn't the NFL banned Artifical Turf or whatever the **** they call it?
The NY Jets are just a Snake Bitten organization.....I think the only team that might have a worse track record is the Cleveland Browns but man the NY Jets just can't catch a break!
Ian Rapoport just reported on Twitter that it is indeed believed to be a Ruptured Achilles and that Aaron Rogers is done for the season!
