Actually the NFLPA has traditionally taken a hard line stance on “signing bonuses” saying that even if the remaining contract is voided, that money is earned as soon as pen goes to paper...
Its very likely that he wins the pats money owed for the signing bonus, but the remaining salary or option year he won’t get.
The raiders never gave him a signing bonus... it was a work out bonus that he failed to meet the requirements for... of he thinks he is getting that his reading comprehension is about as low as his tweets suggest...
Again he thought he was playing the raiders.. he always meant to get cut and go to the pats... the raiders should file for tampering and collusion. In abs messed up head, he really believed that just cause it was “guaranteed money” and not salary, he was entitled to it no matter what...
Its all gonna depend on how the contracts were written along with penalties/outs for conduct. Labor attorneys will have a field day with this I am sure.
