AB accused of Rape (update dipshit released by pats)

yeah this is what passes for entertainment these days around here

He attacking Weddle, Golden Tate, anybody that will even talk to him, he Britney Spears shaving her head level of crazy now, lol

The whole world needs to put him on ignore

It’s britney *****. Oh wait. It’s tony *****.

Yeah, the guy is coo coo for coco puffs crazy.

Glad he is back tweeting. A bit of entertainment again. Lol. He clearly doesn't realize everyone is laughing at him....not with him.

Sshhh don’t tell him that. Twitterverse needs it’s entertainment

Now he wants to return, because he's the best.

Whatever.

When I saw "The Best" it reminded me of this. Not the biggest fan of It's Always Sunny In Philly but always thought this scene was hilarious. And has some AB style craziness too:

I think Tony is seeing his bank account dwindle. I don't wish bad on him but I don't mind the view either !

Let's think about this, he didn't get paid by the Patriots, he didn't get paid by the Raiders (and was fined) -- he lost all of his endorsements. He has legal fees, potential lawsuits to pay for etc. I know he's made a lot of money but he also seems to spend it like nobody's business.

Realistically, how much do you think AB has left? I guess that's a tough question to answer cuz none of us have any idea. But if he's saying he's done with the NFL one day and then he wants to come back another day, I'm wondering how much money this guy really has.

the best Buffalo Bill WR ever probably has about $20 mil.

which is a lot less than he should have, and a **** ton less than what he could have had over the next two seasons.

I am afraid this guy is going to hit rock bottom and kill himself. but quite honestly most narcissists would never consider this.

he'll be drinking 40s and challenging high school kids to race him before long

While it seems like a pretty extreme viewpoint to take on the surface, I noticed a couple things AB said that troubled me. 1) When he addressed Darryl Drake's passing, he said "I'll see you soon". Huh? Completely out of left field. 2) Then he tweeted something about it being a crazy world, and that "he's done with it".

I certainly don't want to see this guy go down this path, but if he can't play football in the NFL and if he's struggling with money at all, while he's juggling his women and children and his current lavish lifestyle -- it's a recipe for disaster.

Yeah god is great. See you soon. Why say that? Sure hope not. But if he doesnt play in nfl how does he continue his life style

I just read the Cheats are on the hook for 9 M after letting him go.

9 would be it they honored his signing bonus, which they aren't.

Officially AB is listed as $5.75M dead money for Pats

That's 1.025 Base Salary $4.5 prorated signing bonus and $225k roster bonus,

If they can prove AB is bad for business, the $4.5M can be awarded back, and they'd be on the hook for part of his base salary (since he played a game) and possibly the roster bonus, which is nothing.

For me it's a no win situation on who to root for in this one, cheats or tony?

I just hope he gets help if it's something physical / mental with him. If he is just doing this because he can, then his demise is entertainment for all.!

best to root for messy court case with bABy and rub/tug Krapft in full media view for months

Pats forum over 500 pages on their AB discussion, lol

Seems Brady and Belichick liked AB and wanted him to stay but Kraft folded under pressure from advertisers, so that's got them all riled up again, they are calling for Kraft to leave! hahahahahahaha

Tom Brady wanted Antonio Brown to stay and was unhappy when Patriots cut receiver

The New England Patriots employed Antonio Brown for all of 11 days, but if it were up to Tom Brady, the wide receiver would still be in town catching his passes.

That's according to NBC Sports Boston's Tom E. Curran, who documented Thursday the fallout of Brown's abrupt stint with the team earlier this month. Brady was a "bummed-out quarterback" upon learning the Patriots had released the former Pittsburgh Steelers star, per Curran, and was "not happy" about the team's decision to cut ties with Brown so early in their partnership.

"He went all-in trying to make it work," Curran wrote, "got close to Brown and tried to understand and help him."

In contrast, per the report, Patriots owner Robert Kraft was quicker to put his business -- and its spotlight -- first. If Kraft hadn't insisted on parting ways with the outspoken receiver, Curran added, Brown would probably still be suiting up for Bill Belichick and running routes for Brady.

They already have one person accused of sexual assault on their rosters Edelman

I'm pretty sure AB will get a SB ring if they win it all again.

He was on the 53 man roster for at least a week, played and contributed to a win. That should be enough if management wants to award him one.

It's totally up to the organization. Some teams have given them to players that were traded during the year. I don't remember any one cut because they were being accused of sexual misconduct getting one.

Kraft and his rub N tug antics would get one so why not AB and his come from behind attitude get one?
Sneaky ******** they are...............

PLUS, they aren't going to have to worry about it anyways.

The team has to pay for it. A few years ago one of the former pats**** players said that they didn't just give rings out. Basically if you weren't on the team when they won it you didn't get one. That doesn't include IR'd players or just injured players.

Who gives a ****? And he played in one game against a **** team, he certainly isn't helping them in the quest for that ring, so again, who gives a ****?

That's an interesting thought.

I suppose they could, but they'd have to deal with the backlash if he's still a detriment to the league for his character. He hasn't been doing a damn thing to ingratiate himself since he was cut.

He wasn't on the week 1 roster, so he wouldn't be guaranteed a ring (or his salary). Cutting a player means they usually won't get a ring.

This shitshow isn't over...

Antonio Brown poised to file NFL-record 9 grievances and appeals

Sep 29, 2019
Adam Schefter
ESPN Senior Writer

Antonio Brown's battles will shift from social media to the legal variety.

Brown is the first player in NFL history poised to file nine grievances and appeals during the same time period, league sources told ESPN.

Brown's nine appeals and grievances will be a legal battle to try to recoup as much of the $61-plus million that he believes is owed to him.

The grievances and appeals involve the following issues and sums of money:

• Fine appeals with the Oakland Raiders: $215,000

• Salary guarantees with Oakland: $29 million

• Signing bonus with Raiders: $1 million

• Oakland's unpaid Week 1 salary: $860,000

• New England Patriots' salary guarantee: $1 million

• Patriots signing bonus: $9 million

• Patriots' unpaid Week 3 salary: $64,000

• Patriots' option year in 2020: $20 million

As if that wasn't enough, if the NFL disciplines Brown and suspends him -- which is well within the realm of possibility -- Brown could appeal that as well, which would make him the first player in NFL history to have nine different appeals generated from one season.

Brown again made headlines with his social media activity Saturday when he traded jabs with Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield on Twitter. He also took shots at Patriots owner Robert Kraft and former Pittsburgh Steelers teammate Ben Roethlisberger as part of a Twitter tirade last Sunday morning.

Brown, who has been accused of sexual assault and sexual misconduct by two different women, was released by the Patriots last week, making him an unrestricted free agent, eligible to sign with any team. The NFL is conducting an investigation into the allegations.
