According to AB a trade is coming in less than 24 hours

Not only did the Steelers take a chance on him in the draft. They took an even bigger chance by giving him his first big contract just two years removed from being a 6th round pick. On top of that, they made him the highest paid WR in the league not even a month after the Facebook locker room bullshit.

The guy is just something else.

That is what kills me....the Steelers went out of their way to take care of this guy and this is what they get in return.
I'm so done with this guy.

So every team knows that AB wants a new deal. So those that are still negotiating must be willing to give him just that. Say the Raiders. Doesn't this put the ball back in our court? The team can't use that as leverage. Whatever they offer I would ask for more. A bunch more.

No, because teams don't want to give up high draft picks AND a new contract. One or the other is fine, both is the holdup.

Not only that, they gave him that contract, IRC, while Mike Wallace was on the team and was the #1 receiver, thus pushing Wallace out of town. They pissed off #1 to make Antonio Clown happy.

He sees the end coming and just like 95% of black athletes he spends it quicker than it comes in. He’s trying to get every shiny nickel he can while he can. Whatever, doesn’t matter because a year after he retires he will be foreclosing on that house in Miami and filing bankruptcy.

If I’m Colbert I hang tight and give him his 2.5 million roster bonus. The WR market it thin this free agency with the likes of Golden Tate leading the way and guys like bust Breshad Perriman likely getting paid for a couple of “ok” games. I’d wait until the draft gets closer and hopefully AB’s antics have settled down and then comeback at it. I feel during the draft talks would heat up and we might not end up with a 2019 first round pick but maybe after the Raiders second #34 and a 2020 1st considering they have two. And I’d be fine with that.

IMO, Raiders are still very much in this trade talk, even if we've not heard anything definitive.

Why?

The current WRs on roster are all of:
Jordy Nelson
Marcell Ateman
Keon Hatcher
Seth Roberts
Dwayne Harris

a whole bunch of nothing spectacular.

So when the Raiders call, Colbert would be correct in insisting on at least one of their three 1st round picks. A ***** would drastically increase the talent of that corps.

that's just it. the FO doesn't want to hand his *** $2.5 mil after the bullshit he's said and done.

he's 30 years old. He's the same age as Julio Jones and AJ Green. Neither of whom are bitching about a new contract. Yet he's made more money than either of them, and they were in the first round.
he really needs to put his **** in perspective. We were the only team who cared to draft him in the 6th round, even passing him over 5 previous times. So after putting in all his hard work, NOW he wants to make eyes at new teams?

what else irks me is his love of Jerry Rice, Ochocinco and TO. While those guys are all good/great, we have had some damned good WRs such as Swann, Stallworth and Ward.

100% guarantee if/when he gets to a new team he'll be the same AB we saw a couple seasons ago. For about 6 weeks. Then the meltdowns will start again.
Couldn't agree more. I'm just tired of hearing his bullshit.

The contract Jarvis Landry signed last year was bigger as well.

I would not be surprised if after the Beckham and Landry contracts, Brown had Rosenhaus approach the Steelers for a new contract after he just signed a new one a year earlier, and the Steelers rightly told them to go pound sand.

That, combined with continued Juju's rise, would probably explain why he was even pissier than usual last season and eventually blew up.

no way man, it's because of CTE, 'n stuff! like, head injuries an' whatnot! he's actually a really down-to-Earth type of guy except for the head injury from burfict! yeah, it's all his fault!

..seriously though, i'd say you're probably spot on.

AB is stoopid

How funny/sad would it be if he made himself untradeable for the Steelers? The only good deal was nixed by the Bills because he's a big mouthed diva and now the Steelers can't get fair compensation for him.
Hope something happens soon. . .

Do you think Big titties gives a **** about anything of "whats good for the STEELERS"..............????? #****$brains is ONLY out to get more money somehow......and he thinks he will get waived / released with all this tongue in sand azZ ****.

I truly hope the Steelers just don't dump him. Get value(what they want and not watered down) or he stays on the team. Then use everything allowable rule under the CBA to keep him in line if he steps out of it. Hopefully, he just holds out. And or retires. **** him. If I ever would go to another game and he trotted out onto the field I would boo his ***. Funny how he thinks all Steeler fans still stand behind him and support him. Crazy really?

I'm just curious to know how you know this???? I seriously don't think big titties actually thinks all Steelers fans are behind him. I'm sure he knows exactly where he stands yet still puts on the persona that he is being supported. It's part of that meMEme mentality he is famous for. He also portrays himself as being god ferring, super dad......... His current baby Mama disputed that while she was describing him in an interview not to long ago. He lives alter personality to his benefit.

Seriously, how are those two white strings keeping those magnificent beasts from busting out? I have been sitting here staring at those two strings trying to will them to break for the last ten minutes. Alas, the dam still holds.

WhoAly **** Ford, he has not only through his devalueing himself but also priced himself out of existence.

Ain’t Broke hasn’t been right since he flew in wearing Browns colors.

Steelers need to be patient...he’s either gonna screw himself up with more stupid antics, or he will be traded at the draft.

If not, then he is still contractually obligated to show up next year. If he does not then we get his bonus money back and fine his ***.

Haha, was just going to post this. well boys and girls, me thinks AB well be a Steeler come training camp. no way is any team going to pay that, plus give up a 1st round pick. and it's probably more in the line of 20 million a year, that he wants. I just can't believe this is all over the all mighty dollar with him.

So didn’t he say he made 100 million dollars? He now says he’s got 30 in the bank?

That’s a lot of cash to blow thru so quickly Almost Broke....

Better check your ego and accept a trade or all those Ed Chips meals are gonna turn into ramen noodles really fast when all your crew bounces on your when you just a A Broke ***...

We're stuck with this headcase.
Not sure any team will want to offer 18 to 20 mill

Wants 18-20 million [emoji23]

So it's always been about the money? What about this respect bullshit with Ben & management?

Just when I think I couldn't like this douchebag any less, he proves me wrong.

No no. Its Ben Roethlisberger's fault cause he acted like the owner. Very convenient that now he wants more then 10 million above the biggest contract in wr. History. Nothing to see here. Not about the money. It's about being treated like a man. Go **** yourself AB. A man honors his obligations. In the words of Ivan Dachenko you are a has been. And the definition of a has been is someone who was once great and is now a piece of ****.
