Act of Terrorism in Orlando

They probably already knew about the Istanbul airport.
Bomma says the future does not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.

Yeah but I landed in Montreal at noon and I could tell security was on high alert. People knew something was going down somewhere. But it wasn't publicized because of, you know, the religion of peace.

If you can't indiscriminately kill and slaughter people of various ethicities, what good is your god?

She said Rubio walked on their blood-stained streets. Where was the blood? 49 killed and another 53 shot, it should have looked like a slaughter house every where you looked.

Over 100 people hit with .233 rounds?

I travel a lot. I was in the airport Tuesday. I "creeped" this photo (that's why it's so awful). This is Reagan National Airport in DC. I've only ever seen the cops in blue on the left. And I've been through this airport many hundreds of times, maybe over a thousand, since 1991. I've never seen guys like those on the right.

DBS, those guns looked like SOPMODs, but I have no idea the rifle type. Any clue? Yes, I know, the image is ******

The attacker was hold up in a restroom, surrounded, and would have been mowed down if he attempted escape. This gave ample opportunity to remove the wounded outside. They didn't have to wait 3 hours. Popeyes dumbass, tin hat fairy tale ends up in the garbage heap.

You're as clueless as you appear.

What a clown.

You're gonna see more and more guys like this as time passes. Bank on it. We are only going one direction: police state.

Biggest damn flash suppressors I have ever seen, and I used to work in a business where minimal muzzle flash was paramount.

While I agree there is no need for silencers in this scenario, that is likely what those are,

I respect your opinion Sarge, but I have one that is that long for my AR. If you google AR flash suppressors there are tons of them that size now. I guess everything is going bigger now days. I also have a couple silencers set up in my gun trust at that length, but they still look more like suppressors instead of silencers. They look like they are vented.

I thought so. I see no reason why they would have silencers.

They are suppressors, which work both to lessen the noise of the shot and to eliminate muzzle flash.

Militarily, sound suppressors are used to lower the signatures of shooters or combat operations and sometimes even conceal the very presence of forces. To achieve this, they reduce any combination of audible sound, muzzle flash and blast disturbances to ground surfaces.

Why would dudes in an airport need them?

Why would dudes in an airport need them?

Two reasons. The noise from one of those rifles, indoors, will make whoever fires the gun almost unable to hear anything unless they are wearing hearing protection, and the police and troops don't like wearing something that reduces their hearing or sight unless absolutely necessary. The suppressor greatly reduces the noise, making hearing protection unnecessary.

Second, muzzle flashes are very distinctive and basically act as a spotlight for an enemy. Even an untrained suicidal douchebag knows enough to shoot where the muzzle flashes are coming from.

Therefore, the suppressor makes unnecessary hearing protection, and provides the law enforcement or military more concealment from an enemy. It is why a ****-ton of military rifles are now sporting suppressors.

This is a logical reason for them being there...

Or for the same reason I have one on my AR, it looks cool. j/k

Why do you need a weapon of war? There is no reason for there to be weapons of war on our streets.

Need has nothing to do with it.

I am pretty sure we don't "need" let's say pornography. Are you OK with censorship?

If "need" is going to be the test, are you willing to let someone in government determine what it is we need?

Never waged war on anyone just enjoy shooting it. I also don't need a silencer but I have a few of those legally also.
