Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez interview

All of the late night talk show hosts are on board in my celebrity plane crash. And it's not just one plane. I have a whole airline full of people. Tibs and Twatty are stewardesses.
I’m sure Supe, Lynn and our other ‘fair and balanced’ moderators will be along soon to point out it’s probably not cool to wish death upon your fellow board members and Steeler fans.

It’s revealing how easily you let libs get under your skin, that you wish they died. This is the real Trump derangement syndrome and sadly it’s happening around the country with the Trump base who are increasingly triggered and unhinged. You are a living, breathing testament to that fact. So sad.

You never know...sometimes people survive plane crashes.

*hint: I'm just ******* with you, you idiot.

Jim Brown to blacks: Take 'responsibility,' don't blame Trump

National Football League legend Jim Brown proclaimed on Tuesday that the black community must take ownership of its problems and struggles – rather than blame President Donald Trump.

These comments come a week after the NFL great criticized professional football players who disrespect the flag and their country by not standing for the National Anthem – when he insisted that he would never kneel while the national tribute before games was being played. Now, Brown wants the blacks to show more accountability for the decisions they make and the predicaments they are in so that they will have less hardships to endure in American society.

Blacks should view Trump as an ally, not an obstacle

The former running back for the Cleveland Browns lifted up Trump as an “exceptional” president who genuinely cares about the nation and its people before advising blacks to curb racial tensions and to stop using the president as a scapegoat for their woes

“The black community … has a responsibility – regardless of what the president does. And if you have a homicide rate within your black community, then it’s not the president that’s created a homicide rate – it’s the black community itself that needs to address it.”

What a stupid question Spike. Of course it does.

Any Conservative-supporting Black is "off the reservation" or an Uncle Tom. Kanye to Clarence Thomas, and every Allen West Condolezza Rice Ben Carson in between.

Before I read your post I was getting ready to post that I don't agree with that stuff and I wouldn't post it myself.....which I believe I have pointed out on here numerous times....before you get all high and righteous.

Tibs, what post are you referring to?

The one where I said he was a stewardess in my make believe plane crash. Lmao! First of all, it’s funny, but what’s funnier is he actually took it seriously.

DeSantis: Gillum wants to turn Florida 'into Venezuela'

DeSantis in an interview airing Sunday on AM 970 in New York said Gillum, who is backed by Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and advocates for more left-leaning proposals such as "Medicare for all" and abolishing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), is an "untraditional" opponent.

"This Andrew Gillum, he's on the far-left socialist fringe," DeSantis continued. "He's a Bernie Sanders, [Alexandria] Ocasio-Cortez type candidate."

"If you have a guy like this enacting a socialist agenda it's going to absolutely destroy all the progress that Florida has made," he added. "He wants to turn Florida in to Venezuela."

Okay, yeah, Spike, but, but, but, but, but, but, but ...

Timothy McVeigh!! And the miracle that is Cuba!!

1. Cuban hospitals are a horror show.
Don't be a dolt - use YouTube. Or your brain. Or any brain, including the neighbor's cat. Cuban hospitals are decrepit, decaying, and make 3rd world "doctors" cringe.

2. Cubans endure extreme inequality of healthcare.
Foreigner, paying cash? Right this way, sir. Government official? Ehh, small wait, then right this way. Plebe? The dying room is over there.

3. Cuban doctors are woefully underpaid.
$60 per months sounds fair ... not to the doctor, of course, but to the nameless nobody approving or denying payment of the medical bill. Oh, the doctor can't feed his family? See the next point, dipshit.

4. Medical care is "free," but medication is costly and scarce.
You pay me $60 per month? And I cannot feed my family on that income? Okay, so I steal medicine and sell it on the black market to make a decent wage. It must be good, as I hear Trump hates stealing. And the blacks, errr, black market. But this is simply an indictment of the doctor, right? NO, DUMBUCK, IT'S AN INDICTMENT OF A SYSTEM THAT PUNISHES THE EDUCATED AND HARD-WORKING, i.e., communism and socialism.

5. Abortion keeps infant mortality low.
Oh, I'm sorry, your fetus seems to have an enlarged ... **** it, she's dead. Fact.

6. Cubans trade freedom for preventive care.
Wow, what a shock .. a totalitarian government uses healthcare to spy on its citizens?!? Say it 'aint so, Joe. And facts. But sorry - it's true. Uninvited medical visits are a well-documented Cestapo tactic to spy on and punish non-believers.

Socialism ... wanna-be communism.

Communism ... genocide and death camps. "Hitler had it right, just not the way to get there." /s Socialistas.

Fla. Gubernatorial Nominee Andrew Gillum Plans To Raise Corporate Taxes By 40%

UPDATED 8:00 AM PT — September 3, 2018
Florida’s Democrat gubernatorial candidate says he plans to raise corporate taxes by 40% to provide Medicare to each resident in the Sunshine State.

In an interview with CNN on Sunday, Andrew Gillum claimed he would not raise rates on citizens, but would increase taxes on corporations so Florida could become a “leading state.”

However, the proposal could cost nearly $32 trillion over the next decade.

Gillum is running against Republican Ron DeSantis for the governor’s seat in November.

Democratic Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum, who is running for governor, made the unusual move of proposing an tax increase while on the campaign trail Friday.

Gillum said if elected, he would increase Florida's corporate tax rate to 7.75 percent, up from the current 5.5 percent. That increase would generate $1 billion in increased annual revenue, he said, which he said he would use to boost education funding.

"Miami was shortlisted as we're competing in this contest (for Amazon's new headquarters)," Gillum said. "What is Amazon looking for? … Not only do we want a friendly environment for businesses to call home, but we also want to have an environment where they're guaranteed a workforce that is prepared."

That billion would allow the state to impose a minimum teacher salary of $50,000, allocate $100 million to construction of public schools and expand early childhood education programs and vocational training.

Florida's corporate tax was the brainchild of Democratic Governor Reubin Askew in the 1970s. The state has no income tax.

Eliminating corporate taxes was a big campaign promise of Gov. Rick Scott, which he has not completely fulfilled. He has, however, raised the threshold for taxable corporate income.

so this ****** thought that by taxing Amazon more that it will entice them to relocate to Florida?
and not just Amazon, but also any other company.
state income tax is just around the corner if this guy is elected.

btw - when Amazon reviewed their list, they removed Orlando from possible sites of their 2nd headquarters. no doubt this played some part in that.

Because taxes are a monkey on the backs of ... wait, I can't say that??

I kind of hope California or one of the other large stupid states goes deep into socialism so people can see it play out... in a large scale diverse population it fails every time because ultimately it will always restrict individualism... some things can be socialized because the need and demand is universal... like water supply... but for most things supply and demand and free markets are way more logical ASLONG AS YOU DONT ALLOW MONOPOLIES.... ( something we fail miserably at lol)

That's because the state is obsessed with increasing the number of poor, unskilled, and uneducated in the state, and taxing the living **** out of the middle class, upper middle class, and wealthy to pay for giveaways to the government-dependent.

The middle class and upper middle class are leaving the state in droves, to be replaced by the poor, uneducated, and unskilled, who pay no taxes and siphon a massive amount of taxpayer funds - housing, medical care, schooling, transportation, and on and on.

Wow, look at that ... 25% of the state's budget is spent on Medicaid.

Huh, and who would have guessed it? California spends more on welfare every year than the next two highest states COMBINED.

California, with its suffocating cost of living and huge population, is home to an inordinate number of households receiving public assistance. In fact, with $103 billion going toward welfare, the Golden State’s spending on the financially needy is more than the next two on the list combined.

https://www.marketwatch.com/story/n...-when-it-comes-to-welfare-spending-2017-11-28

The state is currently being propped up by the multi-billion dollar tech giants and very wealthy taxpayers. In fact, the top 1% of wage earners pay 50% of California's income tax. So much for Hyphen's fair-share idiocy.

However, a tech stumble and the new Fed tax policies, encouraging upper-income citizens to leave California, could trigger a tax implosion and another round of budget woes for the state.

I speak from experience. California takes a ****-ton of money from me every year. I have had enough, and my wife and I are no longer California residents. Received my Arizona license plate last week, and getting my Arizona driver's license in the next few.

No worries, California. I'm sure that several emigres who have no job skills and who need government assistance to pay their bills will replace my income tax contributions ...
