All bullshit & fighting aside, what is final record?

I will say 8-8, 9-7 with a few breaks. This team, especially on defense just isn't that good. The secondary is weak, and the DL is maybe average at best. The one glimmer of hope on D is that the LB's are young as a group, and there is a fair amount of potential there. Meeting that potential on the other hand.........

I think we go 11-5 and win the division. Likely 3rd seed in the conference. Play either a team in our division or the AFC west as a wildcard game at home.

I see another season of dick slobbering over Tomlin/Colbert and how great they draft, et. al. but next year with a 1st place schedule we will struggle once again to make the playoffs and look woefully inconsistent.

Good enough is this regime's middle name.

Yea, that 2 game difference for winning the division is such a HUGE FACTOR... smh

Huge holes at ROLB, NT and the CBs suck. We have an easy schedule and we will lose 3 or 4 games to bad teams as is the norm under our con man HC, . We go 8-8

either we are great, or we suck. There seems to be a wide variety of consensus here so I'm thinking we're not as bad as some think, and not as good as others think. the 10-6 or 11-5 seem to be the magic number. Play off berth, then SB !!!!

As long as two of the wins are against the Rats. Two preseason wins (par for them) later and their Natty Boh swill drinking jagoff fans are already planning SB parties.
Everyone I have met from the Burgh that has relocated to this **** hole has the same opinion of Ratbird fans, they're the ******* offspring of drunken Browns fans.

12-4; no worries

I see 11-5 and a division title. Schedule is weak and we only travel to another time zone once (Tennessee). The offense will be more consistent and balanced than we've seen in at least 7-8 years. The defense will give up lots of yards on the ground and through the air but they will make enough splash plays and red zone stops to win games.

If they cant go at least 11-5 or 10-6 this year with no west coast games and a healthy QB then I think we are in for a long decade of mediocrity

This year the difference is playing Geno Smith and Alex Smith vs. Tom Brady and Peyton Manning (which the Bengals have to do).

I actually think that's a big difference.

Next year (if we win the division) we will probably play Tom Brady and Andrew Luck while the others in our division get any of the other quarterbacks in those divisions (Smith, Manuel, Tannehill and Bortles, ??? and Locker).

Sorry if I don't think that's sometimes a two game swing. Because I don't think we are at the point we can beat the really good QB's yet.

This year we go 11-5. Next year we go 9-7.

Just the way I see it happening.

Depending on some young guys to make major steps. Wheaton JJones Shazier Allen. Also need Worlids Heyward and Decastro to pick up where they left off and continue to get better. Mitchell was a big addition. Fasts and likes to hit. Key will be how much Tuitt Archer and eventually Bryant can contribute. Team speed has been upgraded and hopefully we see that in less big plays on defense and more big plays on offense. Special teams should be better also. We do have a nice blend of vets and young talented guys. A fast start will be essential. Get the confidence level high. Im going with 11-5. I do think it will be a dog race for the division as both the Ravens and Bengals will be there too. The key to the season will be the Oline. Stay healthy and play to their potential this team can be really good. Any injuries and we will be looking at a long season. No Depth at all up front.

Somewhat disagree.

I think the Steelers have better depth this year.
Especially at RB, ILBer, OLber, possibly WR, possibly CB.
There is bodies at a lot of positions, but can they be effective if a starter goes down?
DE to me sticks out as you have one player converting from NT, and a rookie, and a lot of question marks behind that.
CB position has speed and I see flashes of being good, as well as flashes of being well not so good. But Gay can start in this scheme, few corners behind him have had moments.
If Ben goes down look out, but many of team can say the same thing.
For me I would like to see the team possibly say keep a So'oto over a Carter who for me has little to no pass rush ability.
Let Landry Jones go and possibly pick up another QB on final cuts. One who has shown he can put together a drive. Jones looks like a deer in the headlight out there. Painful to watch.
Will be interesting to see if Spence makes it.
I think the Bell, Blount, Archer trio will allow for play action passing, and more drives to be sustained.
Cortez Allen and Jarvis Jones will have to have solid seasons moving forward. I mention them as they both have had hot and cold moments.

Sorry I mean to the Oline no depth there after the starting 5.

Our backup C had starts last year -experience is there

Whimper played decent when called upon

So I think depth is there, for me it is just Adams bringing concerns....

which is a legit concern, especially throwing him at LT.

You have a rookie looking like he will need to add muscle, which often is the case with most rookies.

So yeah for me it is mostly a Adams concern over anything that the O-line depth doesn't provide.

Adams feet are too damn slow, if he is in there long enough you better cheat a TE his way for the majority of the time.

Might be another area the team should look at come final cut downs.

9-7. But 10-6 would pretty much put us in the playoffs.

9-7. thought easy 10-6 at worst but watching back ups, we better hope players stay healthy.

Very enthusiastic bunch here. I'm still holding 11-5, division title, conference title, SB title, all to go in title town !@!!

Best case=12-4.
Worst case=6-10.
Average of the two=9-7.
My prediction (based on teams health at this point): 11-5, division champs.

I see us improving and making the playoffs. From there, you never know - especially with Ben on the team.

11-5

Once again, I'm just curious as to who you have that we lose to? thank you
