I'm thinking 9-7, maybe 10-6 and that's if things go well. The defense across the board just isn't that good, they have to improve in a huge way to avoid another .500 or worse season. The offense has to score 28 or so a game or we are in for a long season.

I may have underestimated it a little, but not way off yet.

I'm starting to feel better about my prediction. If they can beat the horrible Jets and almost as horrible **** then they'll be 8-3. No reason this team can't finish 11-5 at the worst.

I would not have expected our division to have no teams under .500 at this point. Most divisions have at least 2 teams under .500 and NO leads their division at 4-4.

We just lost to the yets, we have gone from first to last in days. The importance of that game was huge and it did not get taken care of. We have one more game before the bye and they may be looking forward to the time off and not to their next game we could drop two in a row here. I said this would be a tough test for MT to see if he is able to take the next step. My 8 and 8 is still looking safe, although I would rather see MT turn into the next Vince Lombardi than be right I don't think it is going to happen.

Given that they've lost to the Buccaneers and Jets, one at home, one away, it is pretty much pointless trying to project how they'll do based on weekly opponents.

I'll say 3-3 the rest of the way at 9-7, no playoffs, and another offseason of fools proclaiming Tomlin has "never had a losing season."
