They lost to teams playing Jake Locker, Matt Cassel, Terrell Pryor and Ryan Tannehill at QB last season. I just do not share your confidence in a Tomlin-coached team capitalizing on the obvious QB advantage they'll have most weeks this season.
Until proven otherwise, the running game is a question mark, and it's been well established that Roethlisberger, combined with a subpar rushing attack, equals an average scoring offense. Plus, we still do not know if they've been able to adequately replace Sanders and Cotchery.
The defense is looking like it could be the worst Steelers defense in memory, especially if Worlids fails to have a big year rushing the passer. The 1st team run defense, like last regular season, was gashed throughout the preseason and the secondary seems suspect.
Supposed easy schedule or not, I just do not see how they win more than seven or eight games, unless the o-line and defensive front 7 turn out to be significantly better than expected.
