All bullshit & fighting aside, what is final record?

Boys we could be heading into a four game losing streak with just losing to the Browns and most likely losing to the Texans, Colts, and Ravens. I think we sneak past the Jets with a W then go on another slide losing 5 of 6 to end the season. So that said I feel 5-11 or maybe 6-10 if we are lucky.

Looking ahead we may not win another game this season ... we surely won't beat anybody but we could get someone's off day gift

With everything going this teams way schedule wise, I don't see them losing a ton of games. Seriously, look at the schedule. They have zero long road trips. The best teams they play at home late in the year. They get the Saints at home in Dec. Even after their ****** performance last night I think they go 10-6. Just having Ben, Brown, Blount, Bell and Miller gives them 10 games against this easy *** schedule. Just look at the QBs they face. They only have 3 good QBs to beat all year. They play Brees in Dec. at home, Newton in Carolina and Luck at home. That's about it.

10-6 is my prediction.

I'll stick with my prediction for now but it isn't looking good. Shame they wasted a good outing against Carolina only to lose to TB and the clowns. No reason for this.

They lost to teams playing Jake Locker, Matt Cassel, Terrell Pryor and Ryan Tannehill at QB last season. I just do not share your confidence in a Tomlin-coached team capitalizing on the obvious QB advantage they'll have most weeks this season.

Until proven otherwise, the running game is a question mark, and it's been well established that Roethlisberger, combined with a subpar rushing attack, equals an average scoring offense. Plus, we still do not know if they've been able to adequately replace Sanders and Cotchery.

The defense is looking like it could be the worst Steelers defense in memory, especially if Worlids fails to have a big year rushing the passer. The 1st team run defense, like last regular season, was gashed throughout the preseason and the secondary seems suspect.

Supposed easy schedule or not, I just do not see how they win more than seven or eight games, unless the o-line and defensive front 7 turn out to be significantly better than expected.

Though I didn't predict a specific record, I said I did not expect them to win more than seven or eight games, having about 6-10 in mind. That's looking pretty legit at the moment.

The defense has been as bad as feared, though the running game has been better. The latter, however, has not helped the point production, due in large part to incompetent coaching.

My concerns regarding the replacing of Sanders and Cotchery are being validated as well, as Wheaton and Brown have not been too hot.

5-11 if we get lucky against the Jets and Titans.

LAST chance to change or solidify your season prediction win/loss
I'm still 11-5 and hoping for 19-0 baby

Don't look now, but I'm still in the running!!!!!!!!!

I was thinking 10 or 11 wins but that was counting TB and and Cleveland as wins. That would logically drop them to 8 or 9 wins. But now looking at the remaining schedule, the only games that look like sure wins are Jets and Tenn because they stink on offense.

I also had Houston, Atlanta, and KC as sure wins. Atlanta is soft so i still see that as a win but Houston and KC have great zone run games. If they are getting gashed by Clevaland, what will Houston do? Houston with 10 days to prepare.

4-12 or 5-11 IF they get rid of Tomlin we win out.

Hard to say, but if the current regime is in place they'd probably spend it on another linebacker.

True...and the best player in college football would be a welcome addition (Amari Cooper, IMHO)

With this team, there are no sure wins left. Easier to predict sure losses. Art II has to be embarrassed at this lack of effort.

I thought the Steelers would be 8-8 +/- 3 games with the difference being how many new/young players contributed significantly. We brought back Kiesel and Harrison while Shazier, Jones and Tuitt aren't even on the field...'nuff said. I'm thinking -3.

This team is just a bit better than the 0-6 Jaguars. I'm putting them at 3-13. I'll even go a step further and say that the Steelers will get the 3rd over-all pick and draft Winston. That's as big a **** up as I can think of in next years draft and the Steelers have a knack for ******* up in the draft lately. May as well give him the #10 Jersey while your at it and make it a Trifecta.

I'm guessing they will be somewhere around 6 - who gives a ****.

6-10

As bad as the Saints are, I see them beating the **** out of us in a few weeks. Brees will be unstoppable..

6-10 would be a gift! This team stinks and it's a shame there is talent on both sides of the football. The coaching has lost it's way big time and ownership seems reluctant to intervene.
MNF will be interesting between empty seats and Steeler fans likely booing the team. Embarrassing.

Best right now looks like 6 and 10 and that involves a lot of hope at this point. We could be really in sad shape with the guys on the team trying not to get hurt so they can sign somewhere else later. There are lots of guys going to be playing not to get injured on this team. I feel sorry for Ike, James, and Brett who came back to this team to try and help it. What do they find an offense that can not put up more than 10 points on some sorry *** teams.

Mike Tomlin's track record proves, conclusively, that there are NO SUCH THINGS as "sure wins" for the Steelers.

I think Tampa Bay goes 1-15 this year. That 1 win will be against the Steelers.

I recall the Steelers losing to the Raiders in a year the Raiders went 2-14. Think of that ... going 0-1 against a team that is otherwise 1-14 against the rest of the NFL.

I'm starting to feel better about my prediction. If they can beat the horrible Jets and almost as horrible **** then they'll be 8-3. No reason this team can't finish 11-5 at the worst.
