One of his weaknesses. For as much as we struggle to score, I'm a bit surprised Tomlin didn't challenge it.
Ask Tomlin. That was a TD, why didn't we challenge? He dropped ball after being in end zone with 3 steps...Don't get it
He is the guy standing there watching the fumble on the ground letting Them recoverWhat?
CATCH:
1. runs backwards....was really his fault? Defender hit him and kind of turned him. He probably thought he was running the right direction.
2. Drops TD catch which on next play we fumble it away. Defender again was right there as he caught the ball. Can't blame him there either. Or I am told.
DJ's current grade....C plus.
He is running some awesome routes.
Hmmmm ... wild way to apply a rule.He didn't score so it wasn't a scoring play.
For as much as we struggle to score, I'm a bit surprised Tomlin didn't challenge it.
Shades doing his best Matt Canada coachingShould MT have challenged the Dionte TD drop? Appears he should have.
Agreed. He usually challenges everything else. Not sure why shades didn’t challenge it
Same. It passed the eye test as a catch, but the NFL rules never make sense so I don't think twice anymore.that was my initial feeling too but because they keep changing the catch rules, i'm rarely confident of what the refs will call. Refs aren't either because I see the exact opposite interpretations called nearly every week.
Buckeye hit it on the head - why should Coach Tomlin challenge a scoring play. There supposed to be AUTOMATICALLY reviewed...oh well.Should MT have challenged the Dionte TD drop? Appears he should have.
It wasn't a scoring play. Shoul;d have ruled it one, then reviewed just like they did on the fumble.Steratore also says Steelers should've challenged. Aren't all scoring plays automatically reviewed?
Tomlin was just saving the TO/ or challenge for later in the game ...probably for a play he shouldn't throw it for.Thank god we have that master of challenges in Tomlin!
Cause our head coach is a dumbassThat was a TD, why didn't we challenge? He dropped ball after being in end zone with 3 steps...Don't get it
Three feet down. Yes he did. The gaff was on the refs...He didn't score so it wasn't a scoring play.
Probably was a defender or two near him. you can't put that on him.He is the guy standing there watching the fumble on the ground letting Them recover
He had two feet down initially then he ran for three stepsThat was a TD, why didn't we challenge? He dropped ball after being in end zone with 3 steps...Don't get it
The only thing that matters for a scoring play is whether or not the refs call it one. They didn't, so it wasn't a scoring play. Tomlin needed to challenge.Three feet down. Yes he did. The gaff was on the refs...
that was my initial feeling too but because they keep changing the catch rules, i'm rarely confident of what the refs will call. Refs aren't either because I see the exact opposite interpretations called nearly every week.
Tomlin doesn't understand the Jesse James rule. Why would he?Cause our head coach is a dumbass
