I saw the situation as grim after last week. But I am more than happy to admit that I may have jumped the gun on that! Not sure what it takes for some people to see the bright side. I guess we would have had to win 42-0 and blew out Alex Smith's ACL before some people would be happy.

Yet Ark you were doing what with the score as it was with Chiefs moving the ball at chunks on last drive until Harrison made the sack. I doubt you were all fuzz and warm. Yes I will go to my hole but I'm not blinded by the play of Burns .

Yeah, this season we've been witness to Steelers fans caving on an unprecedented level. Be it all the so-called fans who've derided the coaching staff and players for....wait for it.....deciding as a team to huddle in the tunnel before coming onto the field to avoid controversy, or the knee jerk reaction to a legendary QB having a bad game last week.
This follows an off season of non-stop anti-Levean Bell rants. But the worse, by far, are the posters who have supposedly turned on the team and the game of football for whatever perceived slights. Nothing more ironic then reading posts on a Steelers board that say, 'don't care about this team no more", "not watching", "had enough", "gonna follow Penguins or college football" et al. What a joke. Clearly, if you're no longer gonna follow the Steelers or the NFL, no good reason for you to be posting on this board, right?

A lot of fans expect their team to be on the field & stand for the flag. I am not going to go to their extreme by quitting the Steelers. I am also not going to be an extremist and say they aren't welcomed back. The media brought politics into the sport we love.Not those knee jerk reaction fans.
The fans showed their displeasure, I see it as nothing more.
And then you see a team that can't stay away from stories. Either from stupid acts, or from ****** play.
That is a trifecta of things that usually don't hit the Steelers, so much in so little of time.

Sooooooo, the Steelers remain inconsistent under Tomlin? They get embarrassed by the Jags and then beat an undefeated Chiefs team? Who do they play this week??? There's gonna be some bitching on this board come next Monday.
bungles, division opponents usually don't factor into the trends........

I think the idea of marriage is great, the often outcome of marriages is probably a different forum topic. But anyone having a solid net worth better think twice of not protecting yourself. Unless giving up half isn't a concern for yinz.

Nobody has a clue which Steelers team is going to show up.
Really not sure what some if you watch. Happy for the win? Absolutely. Quality win against a good opponent for sure. Run game good. No question. Pass game? Not good. Red zone terrible. Putting away a down team, brutal. They got the luckiest of bounces to AB he scores with three minutes and small change. Game over? Not even close. KC scores within a minute. They need one first down to close it out cant get it. KC is in prime position to win. Good finish by the defense. All of it adds up to inconsistent play which equals a good chance they could **** the bed next week.
Want to know the only difference between this game and last game?

And against Jax, they got terrible bounces with tipped balls landing right in the hands of defenders for easy picks. Could have been a whole different game without those, and of course the other three.
Kareem hunt was averaging over 6.2 ypc before coming into this game. He carried 9 times for 21 yards before they realized it wasn't working. KC had been scoring a ton of ppg and got 13, yesterday. In the past, we couldn't rely on the D to hold the team in a game when the O wasn't getting it done. It seems like, now, we can.
