And against Jax, they got terrible bounces with tipped balls landing right in the hands of defenders for easy picks. Could have been a whole different game without those, and of course the other three.

Kareem hunt was averaging over 6.2 ypc before coming into this game. He carried 9 times for 21 yards before they realized it wasn't working. KC had been scoring a ton of ppg and got 13, yesterday. In the past, we couldn't rely on the D to hold the team in a game when the O wasn't getting it done. It seems like, now, we can.

Not saying it wasnt a good game particularly by the defense but if you dont see some big issues as it stands right now, not really sure what you see. They are wildly inconsistent because they arent that good. They could easily get pumped next weekend by the bungles dont kid yourself.

Sure they could. But the doomsday people said that would happen this week. It was the same thing they were saying about going playing KC each time last year and we won both of those. After the first win, the mantra became that Smith isnt that good a QB, anyway. It is always something.

Again, the difference to me is the OL play, which directly impacts how Ben will play. OL played like crap in Jax, we had no running game and end up with 5 INT's 2 of which were pick 6's. If Ben plays like crap (regardless of what excuses he is given), it is tough to win.

Chicago, it seems like the D had no idea how to tackle or stop the run.

And the running game clicking even though not scoring many points keeps the clock running and keeping the D rested to gave a team that averages over 30 PPG only three with almost 6 min left in the game!

Yesterday has shown the talent is there.
It's just a matter of staying inspired.

Need more guys like Deebo, Hilton and crazy plays from AB to get these guys feeling it again
