Can the defense just play offense too. Maybe they can score TDs

That is not my premise. The fact that one is down by 29 pts at half-time is that there is a slim to nill chance of victory once you dig yourself into that hole. I know of one time a team came back. Bills came back from down 32 pts at half. I know of no other times. Simply if you were a betting man. At half time where would you put your money?

well you stated the game was over well it wasn't they came out and played anyhow
 
All three phases of the game plus the coaching was poor today. Hard to believe the defense limited the Titans to 13 points and created 4 turnovers. I'll give them credit for that.

Tomlin drives me crazy, but his teams find ways to win games like this one and Baltimore. This team should not be over .500 right now, but they are. Although it wasn't his best game, huge credit to Roethlisberger because his presence in that huddle has helped the team get to this point.

Bermuda stated the game isn't over at half-time. I stated it is when you are down by 29 pts. I didn't say the Steelers or any other team wouldn't come out and play and make it a game. Simply it is all but an insurmountable deficit to over come in 30 more minutes.

DOUBLE the **** "RUN" play calls. It's not rookie linemen any more, late enough in the season. It's play call and scheme. ****, even I can tell you run plays easily, the professonal defenses can tell way the heck easier. Line your QB in shootgun and delay hand off to tailback lined up right beside QB........ dead give away, DL doesn't even need to worry about pass, just pin ears back and rush...... every-time.

O'h Canada isn't fooling anyone ever.

That's part of why we can never have a blow-out win as we give away over 50% of what the plays are before we run them.

I can't remember too many teams winning games where the leading rusher has 19 yards and the leading receiver has 38 yards. The other team has to shoot themself in the foot repeatedly in order to come out of that with a W.

1st year Texans came into the league, they beat the steelers with very low offensive numbers, I think 49 yards total in one half.

I think we had 7 turn overs in that game.

Agreed. In the end they didn't. The odds are drastically against a team coming back from such a huge deficit. Maybe next time.

Slash, check out the replays. Muth’s catch/drop in the endzone was exactly like catch/drop against Minkah…..except Minkah was flagged for unnecessary roughness. Either MIN lost some points, or we should have gained another set of downs.

In their last 3 losses I think they are 0 - 13 in the TO area. You won't win many that way. Even against us. 😀

YOU can look at it however you want but all I'm doing is pointing out we had winning coaching today.

I know our coaching leads a lot to be desired and our players have a lot of heart to put out and not give up today. Inspite of coaching we won but that still doesn't take away that our coaches coached a winning team today.

I' as hard as anyone and NO, this win doesn't exonerate anything from this piss poor coaching staff.
