It's entirely relevant to go to the genesis of the whole 'Russia' thing.

Exhibit A is the book
“Shattered: Inside Hillary Clinton’s Doomed Campaign,” by Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes. In light of this week’s revelation that Hillary’s campaign funded the dirty anti-Trump “Steele” dossier, the book takes on a new significance. It reveals:
“Within 24 hours of her concession speech, [campaign chair John Podesta and manager Robby Mook] assembled her communications team at the Brooklyn headquarters to engineer the case that the election wasn’t entirely on the up-and-up. For a couple of hours, with Shake Shack containers littering the room, they went over the script they would pitch to the press and the public. Already, Russian hacking was the centerpiece of the argument.”
The plan, according to the book, was to push journalists to cover how “Russian hacking was the major unreported story of the campaign,” and it succeeded to a fare-thee-well. After the election, coverage of the Russian “collusion” story was relentless, and it helped pressure investigations and hearings on Capitol Hill and even the naming of a special counsel, which in turn has triggered virtually nonstop coverage.

The
☭lintons were behind the 'dossier'. The
☭lintons were behind the 'Russia' frenzy. It was all entirely manufactured. The media dutifully ran with it.
"A lie told once remains a lie but a lie told a thousand times becomes the truth.”
Joseph Goebbels
And more broadly...
“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for
the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.” Joseph
Goebbels
We're watching those two statements in action. The nazis, BTW, were hard left. Our establishment has deemed that they were 'right' and clings to that lie. Refer to second Goebbels quote. 'Why', you might ask. How do you think the public would react to the realization that the American left follows the nazi playbook, almost to the letter? They argue that the nazis used 'nationalism' as the means of galvanizing the public as their premise that they were 'right', while ignoring that nationalism was a key component in the soviet's MO. If you have a public entirely ignorant of history, you can sell that BS rather easily. Public school and 'higher education' have done their jobs well. To wit... "Education is a weapon the effect of which is determined by the hands which wield it, by who is to be struck down." --
Stalin, interview with H.G. Wells
But I digress.
