Are others feeling the same about this team

Problem is you cannot trade a coach where he does not want to go. So unless the team making the trade is going to buy Tomlin too....pretty tough.

As for my beloved STEELERS, i have never seen such a disarray, 1968 fan, in any STEELERS teams.

The 80’s as many here have refereed to, were not near this.

Some accuse Rooney of being cheap, but it is TOMLIN who chooses the full coaching staff of 9. That is the smallest staff in the NFL, it shows in many stages of the game. DK Daily shot had a good segment about the coaching quality and quanity, along with who wants it and has it that way.

I feel we have competitive teams with talent. I feel we can compete fully. I also feel this coaching staff has irreparably let this team / franchise / front office / FANS down.

I feel the entire coaching staff (less scouting but even they need scrutinized), needs replaced. Kahn and Weild need fully involved in the vetting process, obviously ART 2 inclusive.

Many here give ART 2 very little credit as a football man, but he is and has been around it his entire life and in all aspects of it. Top to Bottom along the way and he had the greatest mentor to boot. He is far from stupid as many inferr.

As for watching, I still do every chance I get. I root for them blindly at times, but none the less want positive outcome. I also have lowered my expectations a whole lot. HCMT has been my lowered expectations for quite some time.

It’s hard watching some of these great players come here and see their wasted careers, and yes we have seen several wasted.

It’s hard to watch an offense that even I can guess more than 80% correct on play.

It’s hard to watch a once vaunted defense, get driven 109 yards on for a TD, by a 2-10 team.

The list can go on and on starting about the time the “Cowher” players were leaving, yet BR7 kept covering.

BEN ROETHLISBERGER was a major part of wanting to watch, the greatest STEELERS QB and top 5 NFL QB ever. He too is included in The wasted last 1/3 of his career. But to see him play was golden, for me. He reminded me a lot of the Super Steelers days of old.

I’m here and will remain, but yes, that sour taste is there and I hope it is repelled to none,…… very soon.

Preach my man!!!

If the season ends, and nothing changes, we have the same season again - Tomlin 12.0. It's dumb. If they blow him/them out and start over, I have hope and interest again. If not, . . . .
Tomlin didn't get 17 years of experience, he got one year of experience 17 times.

How much did you wager to obtain the $450.00 ?

$20.00. The wife laughed because she doesn’t understand the parley and thought it was pissing away money. I just agreed with her, now I have an extra $450, and she got to say “I told you so”.

I have different feelings with spectator sports in general than I did when I was younger.

For starters. These guys are on contract and are going to get money regardless if they win or lose.

Second. I’m a dad to two boys now. It’s my duty/obligation to be their example and to raise responsible men when they are older. This is just my belief. But if I’m cussing, yelling at a tv over a game which has no real significant outcome on my life. What example am I teaching them? To ***** when something doesn’t go my way or in this case my teams way? It’s impractical at this realization in my life to get frustrated over something out of my control.

Contracting. I will remain a fan and want to see my team’s successful. I do believe sports can offer a life lesson and can be a discussion topic in a mature manner. These are values I teach my sons in working hard and not letting your teammates down who work, sweat, bleed, cry alongside you.

But from a purely fanatical manner. You will never catch me letting the Steelers, Penguins or Dawgs dictate my mood for the day because they won or lost.

Yep, 2/3 of the bet was a no brainer. The only part that was really a wager was the *’s over 20
