Are we gonna talk about the NFL refs continually cheating for the Chiefs ?

Between the :
* 4th down dive by Josh Allen .... that wasn't called a 1st down (and it obviously was) -- it was never even measured on 3rd or 4th down

* Bills interception inside 5 yard line where you either had to call Bills DB down & the ball taken after he was down (Bills ball), or call the pass incomplete (they somehow called it KC ball and that he took it from the DB, AND the ball somehow never touched the ground)

* Ed Oliver & Bills DL held ALL night -- several times he is jumping up and down - during the play - that he was just held or tackled.

It doesn't take many key calls to turn the tide of a close game in the NFL, but it is unbelievable how it keeps happening for the Chiefs every week.....every year.
I'm sorry but the NFL is nothing but the WWE anymore.

I thought on the 3rd down play they got the 1st(TE). Talking heads all over now are saying that he did. Why no replay from NY though? We had a game where they gave us the first on 3 straight plays only to be over turned by NY on every play. And the calls were right I will say. On Allen's 4th down attempt. The far side ref who had view of the football ran in and his spot clearly was giving them the 1st down. The nearside ref who all he could see was Allen's back spots the ball short. Mind boggling really.

Side note. Watching both championship games clearly shows how far behind the elite teams of the NFL we are. Not by a little either. By a very large margin.

I started to raise an eyebrow when the "Patriots" won the SB after 9/11. I started to notice that the teams that won, had a marketable storyline, including Jerome's coming home story. Do you all remember the morning after that SB, the number of non-Steeler fans screaming that the game was fixed? It was weeks for me defending them to the Eagles fans around me.

Now, it's just a huge money maker and unless The Steelers can drum up some marketable story lines, they aren't winning one anytime soon.

The Pats 9/11 SuperBowl is where I perked up and REALLY took notice.
Go back to that game and watch the ending.
Vinatieri nails the 48 yard field goal.
The ball goes through the uprights, hits the net, hits the ground, and there is still 2-3 seconds on the clock.
GAME OVER.
Not saying the Rams pull off a miracle on the ensuing kick, but they don't even get the chance to.
They just ran the clock down to zero.
I have seen countless games that were blowouts where they played out the final few seconds.
Why wouldn't they in the SUPERBOWL when the possibility exists?

There have been way too many examples of a fix being in.

I still think that the 17-1 season for the cheats was because the league knew it would have been too far to go with it all had they won the sb.

The goodell years will be looked back on as garbage.

I finally found a quality and reliable site where you can start playing slot machines online - https://slоtscity.ua/live , and I really liked this site, because there are a lot of slot machines on this site where you can play slot machines easily and freely and win real money! Good luck with your game on this site.

Agree with that the NFL is nothing but the WWE anymore.

This is true, we are light years from the true, legit contenders. We don't even belong on the same field. We are Miss "Cream her Knickers" compared to those teams who are legit. It's not even close. Our head coach, in the first place, is miles from being legit by comparison to the real contenders. It's not even close. He is Jr. High all the way.

I have zero interest in this joke of a SB. The league has gotten too rehearsed for me if that’s the correct word. Nothing seems natural any longer. Refs appear to be controlling the outcomes and nothing is consistent. Product is just too hard to watch and enjoy. There is no intrigue or excitement like in the past and has gotten political as well.

You know the super crazy conspiracy sites say tge Pats were shown how to do the spygate stuff right on 01 because the Government wanted a " Patriot" victory after 9/11...

In 01 i laughed it off... but it is when narrative football seemed to start

Weirder yet, i think it was Bill Simmons, pre playoffs, who wrote a pats fan dream scenario that came true in weird fashion, right down to Bledsoe having to step in in the AFC CG... so maybe they do tilt the scales somehow...

It definitely needs its own thread. And we should also have a discussion about Coach Tomlin. People seem to be giving him a free pass

Buffalo didn't look like they belonged there. Allen is a 7 or 8 year vet and made rookie mistakes.

That appears to be the year they started the WWE bs,from 2001 on.

Bill Burr knows what's up

Wait, isnt' he a Patriots Fan? I'm sure he knows all about cheating, including the 2018 AFCCG where Brady threw a pick that would've lost the game in KC, KC could just down it to win it, but the refs ruled that Dee Ford, who was no where near the play and not offsides, was offsides so it negated the int and gave NE the ball back.

Where you gonna watch & what's on the menu?

This entire thread reeks of grapes. The sour variety

Funny how we can watch the same game and come away with the totally opposite opinion. I watched and think we could be there fairly easily. The Eagles lost their last 6 in a row last year. I am not saying your opinion is wrong just funny how we see it differently.

What logic supports you're opinion?
The miserable offense that got outrushed 10-1 in yardage or the defense that gave up those yards on the ground?
The offense that cannot score more than 3 points at a time?
The HC thats lost 7 straight playoff games by record points margins?

We have zero in common with the good playoff teams.

All the playoff teams outside of the Broncos and Chargers have Better QB and RB than we do.
By a wide margin
If you don't have a top 5 guy at 1 or both of those positions you have zero chance.

I'd say Broncos and Chargers both have better QB's than us, and it's not even close. And Dobbins averaged 4.7 ypc and had 9TD's for the Chargers in 13 games.

All that you really had to say is that Tomlin and Austin have the NFL's most expensive yet underperforming defense in the NFL. Period.

And do you know what the Steelers are going to have next year? THE SAME DAMN THING.

SAME DAMN SCHEME

SAME SORRY *** CALLS

SAME SORRY *** COACHES

and at the end of the season, the SAME SORRY *** EXCUSES

Fairly easily??? If that were the case why hasn't Tomlin done that in the past 8 years?

The patriots post 9/11 dynasty.
9/11 happened in New York. The team to beat them in both super bowl losses was a new york team.

Definitely has some storylines trickled in
