Just wanted to stop by and remind everyone how much I despise Tomlin's standard of just better than average. He hires stupid *** coaches because he doesn't know any better. Anyone with a pulse knows the problems have been in the trenches and year after year we leave them unaddressed.

We have the highest paid soft defense in the history of the NFL, and an offensive line that has no idea what imposing their will on the opponent means.

That is all.

Tomlin sucks. But he laughs and smiles on the sidelines because he enjoys guaranteed employment.

He should have been gone, years ago, but the money keeps rolling in. Why waste your energy on someone that will not be fired, ever. I chose to show my displeasure, buy not spending my money on anything Steelers. If enough people did the same, the gravy train would stall, and changes would happen.

Many have been ready for awhile.

I’m just gonna sit back, eat some
Popcorn and watch the master wiggle himself out of this little predicament like he always does…or was that Ben’s responsibility dragging him there?

Can’t wait to watch this unfold

Sit back and endure this Steelers ride and go Bulldogs!

I am hopeful that one reason they hired Flores might be to replace Tomlin and he retires when his current contract is up.

Tomlin will be here for at least the next decade unless he decides to leave. I just don't see him going anywhere. The Rooney's love him and it seems the pundits, players and his peers around the league love him and think he is one of the very best coaches. So, get used to it. Our only hope has been and still is for Rooney to tell Tomlin to let his coaches do their jobs.

Tomlin will riddle and rhyme his way through every meeting with the press.

Canada will claim there were guys open ( it sounds like there were) and send blame to Mitch. Maybe they sacrifice Rudy for a game or two before trying Kenny?

I have my opinions on Tomlin. But the discussion (which usually becomes an argument) over whether he should go or stay is pretty meaningless no matter what side of the table you sit on. Tomlin is like death and taxes; like them he is inevitable. Best for sanity to focus efforts elsewhere instead of whether he should be canned or not.

They will win 8-10 maybe less without TJ. TJ and Canada will provide necessary cover and we will all be back this time next year. They have been feuax contenders for about half a decade now. Maybe more. When they lost to Jax and NE in the playoffs they had championship caliber rosters. When was that?

That would be fine if he had better coaches to leave it to.

You’re right Slash
We can only hope Canada is unceremoniously not resigned after this year…the Steeler way

Unless one of us is a majority owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers it ain’t happening boys. The man who signs the checks is a big fan of his so put it to bed. As for Oh Canada, it won’t happen in season. It better start improving though because the players are getting restless. Najee seems frustrated as well as Pickens. They have got to start working the middle of the field and better start trying some deep passes. If they are not confident with Trubisket making these throws then he’s the wrong guy for the job.
If OCanada gets booted it won’t be until after the season.

Come on now, isn't it fun every couple years seeking the heads of the "terrible coordinators" yet the guy who hires them never catches any heat?

I especially love the people who tell us that Khan and Rooney make the hires, not Tomlin 😄

As if a near 20-year tenured HC doesn't have complete say over his own assistants.

So to be fair, Tomlin said yesterday that they didn’t take deep shots because Belicheat specializes in taking away splash plays

In other words that was the gameplan… to live in our fears from past games…

This wasn’t bad playcalling from ineptitude or bad play by the players… this was the plan from the top… to barely squeak by as always…

You couod literally see one on one's on the outside all game unless the safety was able to come from weak side all the way to the sideline on strong. That is BS by Tomlin.

I was into giving Tomlin the benefit this year but after these two games you do have question his coaching style. Always bring in coaches that seem to be bottom of the class. We know Flores was hired to be the next head coach that should get some wide eyes. Canda is the prime example of what did Canada do last year to be still calling plays in Pittsburgh, Ben now gone, yet why is the new QB hands tied. Mobility was the excuse last year. Throw one long pass with what under a minute in the half. You expect Mitch to be perfect on a pass that is thrown twice in two weeks. What is the deal, what are we missing. Maybe make it a two minute drill the complete game that is when we saw the different plays in preseason. I guess they worked then so why do them a gain. If Tomlin is the head coach and even with the stare to nowhere on the sidelines, he needs to be able to see all that others see. This was the perfect game to change everything especially how Bill coaches looking for the weakness. Bill did not have to study too long to address every problem this team has. And what in the world does Tomlin and his coaches do at half time. Pats straight down the field.

O'Canada will not be fired mid season even though I truly think he should be. He will just walk off into the sunset when contract isn't renued.

Another poster mentioned Jason Garret should we need an in season OC. I'd be happy with him or even little Eddie from the Munsters...............

Lately, from some of the interviews of recent, it sounds like a riff is starting to form. O'Canada seems hard to approach from what I've read / heard / demeanor-wise & visual view. If there is trouble in paradise I wonder how far it will go before something happens.
