Are we ready to fire Tomlin yet?

Never wanted him hired in the first place! I saw right through his line of bullshit and knew he knew nothing about x's and o's! He was a clueless idiot that got his gig because he spoke so eloquently that Rooney got a boner and thought, Wow, this guy is smart!

Another poster mentioned Jason Garret should we need an in season OC. I'd be happy with him or even little Eddie from the Munsters...............

After the Cowboys lost to TB last week, I read on one of their fan boards (morbid curiosity) where they were equally disgusted with OC Kellen Moore and they were ready to run him out of town. Said Moore was a carbon copy of Garrett and was using Garrett's playbook. FFT.

It's not happening. I want Canada gone but that won't happen until his contract expires. What has to happen is changing the philosophy on offense. It's embarrassing they bring this scheme out every week.

I said it before in another thread and I'll say it again - Art II is perfectly satisfied with mediocrity as long as seats are filled and the revenue keeps coming in. Can't blame Tomlin any longer for being able to keep his job no matter how badly he does, for hiring coaches that won't show him up for the empty suit he is, for the waste of any talent the players had when they joined the team. No one is accountable anymore, and no one but this board seems to care.

Stadium is sold out every game with a 20 year waiting list for season tickets and the TV money won't change but someone should remind Deuce that they'll $ell a lot more $wag when the team i$ winning.

I was on that list for 14 years then didn't renew my interest in it. It takes a death and an act of congress for someone to give up thier seats. ADD in the seat licensing and you have a forever list. People sell the individual tickets and make a killing as well.

I've gone to several games in my lifetime and have yet to ever pay for tickets due to connections in Federated Investments.
I've also spent a small fortune on STEELERS "stuff"

I haven't gone to a game in a long time and I spend very very minimal on STEELERS "stuff".

I don't have the answer but I feel very little in being cared about on the state of the steelers, my fandom doesn't see important to the steelers hierarchy.

He should have been gone, years ago, but the money keeps rolling in. Why waste your energy on someone that will not be fired, ever. I chose to show my displeasure, buy not spending my money on anything Steelers. If enough people did the same, the gravy train would stall, and changes would happen.
“He shoulda been Gonnnneee! Knowin’ how he made me feel…“

I was done with him going into the SB loss to GB. He just isn't special.
Remember when McCarthy brought in the world class motivational speaker, and Tomlin by contrast dimmed the lights and played “In the air tonight” by Phil Collins?

Aw...you are smarter than that. That's cheap. If as a player you ain't motivated come the Super Bowl, you shouldn't be out there. They lost that game for a variety of reasons that had nothing to do with pregame rituals. If Kemeoatu holds his block a split second longer Ben and Wallace probably has a SB record TD throw. If Ben doesn't force a throw to Wallace later in the game and sees Miller, who was so wide open he could have punted the ball to him, there is another probable TD. In all right there is a 21 point swing, because the first throw to Wallace was picked and returned for a TD. That is why they lost.

“With downfield throwing comes the potential of negativity and turning the ball over,” Tomlin said. “Environmentally, in the structure of how they function, we did what we thought was appropriate to win the game last week. It has no bearing on how we’re going to function this week.”

A man that wastes very few words.

If asked to write a book on “why does painting a house in summertime with Wind dry fast” I am sure he could come up with a 1200 pager. 🙂

I was a big fan of the Tomlin hire. I remember way back during the 1st half of the Bengals game thinking we looked coached up. Now I’m thinking we just hadn’t found our groove.

So, I had tuna fish for lunch today - absolutely fabulous tuna fish. My mouth is still watering...
Hopefully you did it right. Put some celery and sweet relish in it with a splash of dijon mustard.

Was it fresh or old ? Either would need to be moist but be careful of "Old Mayonnaise"

Well, notwithstanding they came out a little flat and it was 21-3 getting beat to the punch. Sure, maybe it’s cheap but it’s like my eye doctor told me with LASIK “if you can get Mickey Mantle, why go with the guy in Triple A?” McCarthy seemed to be trying a little harder to get that pregame mental edge FWIW.

Screw it, he got Tebowed the next year I will die on that writing is on the wall hill!
