Around the league...WTF is going on?

Strike seasons still count in the records. But you still aren't averaging anything. Why is week 5 the Holy Grail? What about the undefeated pats* just a few years ago. NO team had ever gone 16-0. GB was 13-0 a couple of years ago. Why is week 5 so important? There are a ton of week 6-9 losing teams. Why is one more week that important especially since the league started having Bi-weeks? It doesn't prove anything.

If something that used to happen once every 10 years, starts happening once every 3 or 4 years, and then once every 2 or 3 years, then we can see that things have changed overall.

You really think ONE game constitutes some great paradigm shift? If you chart it you'll see there has been little difference in average over 40 years. Again why is week 5 the Holy Grail? There are TONS of week 6 all through the years. But there is only ONE 16-0 in the history of the league and that happened during this "parody" period. How many 13-0 teams in the 70's? 80's? I guess those don't count? Hell Steel G thought that it never happened before. Now when he is shown that it happened 4 years ago that still proves his point? So to start with his argument was that it was so rare it never happened now finding MORE occurrences means he proved his point? WTF? Fact is that there have been more undefeated teams longer in the season in recent years.
