Oh I’ll bet he will! Plus, it’s not a year round job like he has now. These HC’s spend enormous amounts of time away from their families so with a tv gig, affords more time with family.
Tomlin would be like what Madden was to the broadcast booth. If anything Tomlin is very entertaining and I really think could be very successful if that’s what he wants.

I get what everyone is saying.
I think that Deuce is a slightly better version of Bob Nutting, with the advantages of revenue sharing and a salary cap.
Although every home game has been sold out since 1973, it's a matter of if Deuce gets embarrassed by the number of yellow seats visible on TV and if it's noticed by the announcers.

The thing I would have really liked to have learned is who makes the decisions about a guy like Canada. Is it Deuce himself or does he trust Tomlin's judgement. Or is it a collaboration. Because to me all the draft evaluation all the FA decisions aren't going to amount to a hill of beans if they got that wrong.
On a side note, wondering if someone can answer a question. I was chaperoning son's senior winter formal and talking to a fellow Steelers fan who plans NFL trips. He said he wanted to plan a trip to Pittsburgh for a Pirates and Steelers weekend. I said I don't think they overlap because of parking . He said the Pirates could play on a Saturday, Steelers on Sunday. I said I don't think it works that way. A home series ends on a Sunday. Am I wrong?

I do know you could catch a Penguins game and Steelers game on the same weekend in season a few times.

It's actually on my list to take my youngest son up for something like that in the future.
