The D is finally getting called out; it sucks and is finally getting called out. But make no mistake, it's a Mediocre Mike problem. His lame 2 man DL sucks bxxls. And that is Fraudlin, all the way. Fraudlin is making the decisions. And they blow.

This isn't the 2008 season where LeBeau was running things. Totally different time. Robert Saleh would make a great DC, as he used to be before taking head coaching job at NYJ. But Fruadlin wouldn't listen to him so it's pointless.

best, news, ever.

Now it would be 2nd best news if they do bring a guy that does know his **** and wont let tomlin interfere in his game plan

We had that guy in the building last year, and now he's the DC in Minnesota

Which tells you everything you need to know: Fraudlin brought in Flores as a favor, to keep him coaching for that season, not as a consideration to remain in Pgh, too much of a threat to Shades' long term future. He wouldn't be allowed to run his defense. And he knows it.

Insiders are saying to the local pundits that Austin isn't going anywhere. They may try to bring someone in like they did a couple years ago to act as a D assistant. Make no mistake, the D is Tomlin's and he shows no signs of giving up the keys to the D that he took about 15 years ago.

The title says Austn to be canned, but is he being canned or should he be canned?
I haven’t heard anything official yet. Doesn’t matter because Shades runs the defense anyway. No good DC will want to come here.

I’ve seen nothing that says Terrell Austin or Pat Meyer will be relieved of their positions.
All that I’ve seen so far is that DB Coach Grady Brown is interviewing for the Atlanta Falcons DC.
the opening thread got me excited.

Technically, no one would hire Flores as he was suing the League. He was given a Defensive “Consultant” title to allow another pair of eyes could provide additional input. MIN offered him the DC job, and he would have been an idiot not to accept it. Now he’s getting the token HC consideration. Thought we would get compensation for it, but it wasn’t a qualifier. Hindsight we probably should had he same for OC when O’Canada was here.

Got damn cooch at it again. Inventing things. Next he will have Dumlin traded for Cleveland’s next two number 1’s before the postseason ends.

He would have already been fired. They're not changing ****.

A new DC that's worth a **** wouldn't come here anyway.

So we're stuck with a flaming bag of dogshit until this current administration goes away by whatever means. If I had billions of dollars, I'd give him 60 million a d that's after taxes just to resign.

I want to see them get back on top again in my lifetime.

This is bogus. In fact, I've heard the complete opposite on The Fan today. These guys aren't going anywhere and expect just minor tweaks to coaching staff.

If there's no changes by the end of next week, nothing is coming. If coaches get canned it's generally done right after their season ends so they can apply for other jobs.
