Bad Day for The Steelers

Don't care about Ray-Ray or Watson. The only one is JuJu. Would have liked to have kept him. Now, we may be drafting a WR high as DJ and Claypool aren't leaders for any WR room.
 
With all the holes the Steelers have that deal would have been monumentally stupid. Three firsts? And all that money guaranteed? Retarded doesn’t cover it.
 
I didn’t want Watson on the Steelers. I wanted him in the NFC, not having to face him twice a year. And I think it’s utter bullshit that we couldn’t get a deal done with a guy that has been a fan-favorite and hard worker since he got here. Especially after coming back last year. Lame.

Maybe JuJu didn't want to come back. He said Ben was a big reason he came back last year. And truthfully, as someone mentioned in another thread, a one-year prove-it deal with Mahomes throwing you the ball or the same deal with Trubisky/Rudolph/Haskins/Draft pick throwing it to you ... No contest.
 
What did someone wake up and run over a pet or something? Maybe late for work and a flat tire.?

I'd say today was a great day as they didn't sign Watson and hamper their franchise for years to come.

I hate the Clowns as much as the next guy.
But DWat can flat out BALL.
Instantly best QB in our division and Clowns have actual real franchise QB for a decade.
 
The Browns are dumb on Watson. JuJu is giving it his best shot at some big statistical numbers,a big payday and a championship. Good for him. Still making good money too.

so now we either sign a FA WR or we draft one... if not both
Problem is - there's not a whole lot left in the WR bin of FA

Of all out there, OBJ, Landry and Demarcus Robinson are the ones that get my attention. I'd go for Robinson.

Bwahahaha… the browns gave up 3 firsts a third and a fourth for a qb that has a 230 million dollar guaranteed contract, and now have to move both their previous starter and backup just for cap space, they can’t even move money around to alleviate things with him…

Raty ray was a returner with bad hands … he was eventually going to burn us more than he has,

And while juju was a great piece, he wasn’t able to carry the load himself and wasn’t worth over ten million dollars
 
Watson hasn't played in a year that has to be factored in. Handcuffing their cap has to be factored in. They will have a hard time building in the draft because they gave up three 1st rounders. So it isn't all honey and roses for them.

Nah, we would have been crazy to go after Watson. Good QB but that’s way to steep a price. I’m fine with what Kevin had done so far.
Ray Ray is not a loss and will be easily replaced by return specialist Gunner who was an all pro in 2020.
Ju Ju I liked but it was time for him to move on. We can do better either in FA or early in the draft.
I’d like to see us sign Honey Badger and also a good CB in FA. Then we can fill in DL and WR with the first two picks.

maybe Juju ultimately didn't really feel that strongly about coming back to Pittsburgh?

You made it sound like Juju and Ray Ray also went to the Clowns. We knew that they were probably gone and Watson to the Clows is not a bad for us.
 
While I wish they could have worked out a deal for JuJu, Ray Ray is just a guy, and the capital the Stains paid for Watson will destroy the franchise, the factory of sadness will live on.
