Baker pays 3.5 million to leave for Carolina

Not a fan of Baker but would be the best if he sued the Browns and the league. He played hurt last year plus all the negative rumbles of outspoken players yet he took them to Heinz and beat us a year before in playoffs. Then Browns sign Watson.

sue for what? hurt feelings?

Ladies and gentlemen, your starting Browns QB for 2022 is one suspension announcement from being the better QB between Josh Dobbs and Jacoby Brissett… they will pay 5.5 million for those two and over 20 million for two qbs that probably won’t play a down for them this season

Traded a 1st overall pick for a 5th rounder. My oh my, the Browns is the Browns.
You forgot to mention, that all this for a QB that didn't play last year, has a good chance that he won't play this year and no matter what will be a black eye on your organization for the rest of his career all while giving him the highest guaranteed contract in history and multiple first-round picks. I don't think Haslam has any clue just how this will affect his team for years and years to come

hopefully baker turns it around and leads the panthers to the super bowl

Only to be beat by our beloved STEELERS who traded for Oliver early in the season and actually returns a 78 yard fumble recovery for a TD, not quite James Harrison fashion but with his zigging and zagging it was about 126 yards breaking 21 would be tacklers.

Ben Roethlisberger who had come out of retirement to play defensive saftey made a shoe string tackle on him only to have Oliver land just inside the endzone.

Salute the nation

And for a new QB who may not even play this year.

So, Carolina picks up Mayfield for a conditional 5th and are only responsible for 5 mil of his contract?

LMAO

Thats the best part … the browns valued him as a 18 million plus qb and thought they would gets a boatload of picks for him… his market value was a fifth rounder and his salary was at slightly more than jacoby brissett will make this season … he had to walk away from 3.5 million just for anyone to take him… the browns really needed the cap space to roll over to next season and nobody wanted him even at 8 million dollars lol

Or he was willing to give up 3.5 million to get away from the browns. I think that's the more likely scenario. The Panthers had all the cards since nobody else needed Baker and the browns being the browns played every card wrong on this hand and then found a way to even screw it up more.

Not surprised it's a ****-up, just the Brahns being the Brahns. At least they'll have the 230 Million Dollar Man™ at some point in the next year or so :D
