Not one joke about him replacing Canada as OC… i am disappointed lol

Both have **** brown coatings................................... currently all I got.

Was it Coach that proclaimed him the next franchise QB that was going to take cleveland to tge SB and doom us for a decade? Lol
Well, he did beat us handily in Cleveland’s only playoff win in like forever.

has to be someone on the waiver list before San Francisco.

though, would the 49ers even want him? dude's a train wreck.
His accuracy while in CAR was among the worst I’ve ever seen by a pro QB

He looked cooked, like PJ Walker and Sam Darnold look good compared to him

Complete waste of space for someone available

So…
1. Baker just got traded then cut despite having a fully guaranteed contract, one he reworked to give back like 3 million dollars as a bet on himself that utterly crumbled… dude would have been better off nailed to the bench in Cleveland… someone would have given him a moderately reasonable deal in the offseason…

2. Baker remains a short gunslinger… basically duck hodges with a far better arm… he is always top 5 in throwing into coverage… he just doesn’t play smart ball… aggressive play with his physical limitations in sight lines sometimes leads to exciting highlight reel plays, but too often it creates game killing mishaps…

3. For everyone who is still discussing the value of Rookie QB stats… Baker had one of the ten best seasons ever for a rookie QB… he is now in his fifth season headed for his third team, trying to salvage his career… rookie qb stats mean nothing……

Sealed our giving up 40+ points three consecutive PO games

Still he is **** brown coated

Signed by first to worst Rams…
Weird stuff. As a 4 year veteran, I thought he shouldn't have been subject to waivers. Yet, the transaction was clearly a waiver wire pickup by the Rams.

Edit: Unknown to me was that vested veterans must clear waivers if released after the trade deadline.

What a difference a year makes for the Rams

Adam Shefter (sp) gave three reasons this was a good deal for the rams. QB with game experience looking to put his wares on film and minimal cost for remainder of season. Season over, someone will pay him and RAMS get comp. picks. RAMS record means they aren't going anywhere so it give Stafford ample time to heal and not force back early.

I thinkit's a good move for a desperate team. Not much downside to it.

All I know is the we are now forced to watch Baker Mayfield vs Russell Wilson on Christmas. Bahumbug!

Like Blitz said above.........what a difference a year makes.
This would have been a marquee matchup when the schedule makers put their heads together. During holiday season.
The Super Bowl champs. Many having Denver heading to SB after the Wilson trade.

Some of us think we’re having a ****** season. Can you imagine being a Denver fan?
Drew Lock,Shelby Harris,Noah Fant. The next 2 first rounders.......And the next 2 second rounders.
Wilson signs a 245 million contract with 165 guaranteed over 5 years.
And with Denver having the **** season they are......look at where Seattle will be getting those picks.
Man.

And then the real kicker as well. If Seattle wouldn’t have traded Wilson, they would have never played Geno Smith.
Give him credit for hanging in there all this time. Easily my comeback player of the year. What a fantastic season he’s having.

Denver was bought by an ownership group that seemingly wants to become the new Daniel Snyder of the NFL. So far they’re doing a good job.

I think Geno Smith should send Wilson a nice x-mas present because he's going to get a nice paycheck this offseason because of him. lol

You might be right ......time will tell. The difference in this case was this was a trade rather then just signing free agents for huge stupid dollars the way the Redskins did back when Snyder bought the team.

Living in Vancouver,it’s all about Seahawk news and games. Anyone with an eye for football could see that he was losing a touch of the old magic. He was a very good QB in his prime. There is no doubt. And Denver desperately needed a QB. And no doubt felt Wilson just needed a change of scenery to get that old magic back. Who knows....he might. They tried to get that missing link for what they felt was going to be a SB run. Their gamble so far has lost, and if he continues to play this way,it will screw up that team for years.

Can you imagine? It sure will be interesting to see what he signs for. It will be the difference of millions upon millions.
He would have no doubt been back up for the rest of his career. I remember reading Articles during training camp news that the QB battle for Seattle between Lock and Gino Smith must be the least talented QB battle in the history of the NFL. And I laughed thinking that was definitely true. Gotta give Pete Carroll and his staff credit.

Yeah, his career earnings are south of 14 million. I mean not bad for making about $2,000 per yard thrown. But I would guess minimum of $10,000,000 and maybe as high as $20,000,000 a season. Lets say a 3-year 50 million dollar deal with 25 million guaranteed. For a guy like him that is huge.

A franchise QB is the most sought after and hard to find player in the sport. No team is trading one unless there is a reason. Giving up that much for any QB that's going into their 12th season is just foolish and reeks of desperation (which the broncos have been). They have been trying to find their guy for a while now.

So the Rams let their QB hand off 3x then put Baker in. He looked off and on, but took the team 98 yrds in like 1.5 mins w/ 0 timeouts to beat the raiders

Game winning 98 yard TD drive with 1:45 remaining no TOs. I’m pretty sure the Rams are happy they signed Mayfield.

How can anyone buy that? NFL is just like the WWE. That game was scripted and bought. The NFL is a joke.

Say what you will but he gave the Brownies a shot and knocked us out of the playoffs a couple times. Once head to head and once when we needed the Brahns to lose against the Ravens. I thought he was a tough SOB who actually gave that team some sort of legitimacy... Then came the commercials and it was like get the hell outta here ya jagoff
