Baker to be released

The Raiders are good at collapsing and there were 2 great catches to end the game. If either one is incomplete not sure how you could script that

The penalties beforehand got the Rams the win. No calls on the Rams holding on their first touchdown drive. I sensed it coming. I took a punt and put $30 on the Rams moneyline with 5 minutes to go. I was so convinced it was going to happen and I hardly ever bet on football for this very reason. I have been burned too many times in the past.

watched the game didnt see anything weird. just good plays

Sure you don’t bet on it. You just watch it because it’s a scripted fraud.

And just like the Raiders punt that rolled several yards within a foot of the sideline before being downed at the two… it was all part of the script!
 
I don't know whether it was a case of the Raiders being bad or Mayfield being good but what he did sure looked pretty.
 
Baker throws at coverage way too much… always has… he is a gunslinger through and through but not built in the typical body of one…

Maybe in year six he turns it around, but his career is chalk full of fools gold drives like tge one last night. The raiders are a bad pass D… they absolutely do not cause picks and don’t really pressure the qb. They fold when their coverage gets challenged… Baker either doesn’t make good reads or just throws at where coverage should be regardless… when he comes up against teams who aren’t good at intercepting his dumb throws he can have good games…
 
This is why don't bet. If I had $1000, I would have put it on the Raiders 100%. No Cupp, Donald, Stafford and the Rams put Baker in after being there for two days. How could the Raiders POSSIBLY lose? Well, they did and that's why I don't bet.

Good job, Browns. You gave up on Baker. He's not Joe Montana, but he's not Tim Couch.
 
Take it for what it is, Baker-Dozen managed to exploit a teams weakness, simple as that. Did it take some luck, hell yes but, it did happen.

I wouldn’t count on this type of heroics happening on a consistent basis as Baker-Dozen will show why he couldn’t cut it elsewhere.

Perhaps. But good coaching can sometimes squeeze the most out of talent and minimize weaknesses. Chances are you are right....

I heard that Mayfield has now played for five different coordinators. That would be tough for any QB. He has had success in the league. I think he can again in the right situation.
