Why do they need to trade Tomlin for a future HOF QB?"On paper" I disagree. Who is the future HOF QB they'd be getting?

Espn reported at least one other team contacted them besides the bears and were immediately turned away.
We get it Steve, we really do. My post was just a report that the Bears were interested in taking with Tomlin and the Steelers said NO.Steeler fans who really understand the culture and the ownership should know there is no way in hell they are going to entertain any offers for Coach Tomlin.
“Never say never, but NEVER”
Bullshyte, AR2 had a chance to move on from him in a contract year, and chose not to. After this extension, it will be rinse and repeat. Dookie and Tomlin are joined at the hip, they both go or neither goes. Only chance of any change is with the next Team President. On paper, this would've been the perfect year for the Steelers trade break with Tomlin. If they sat down and agreed a mutual parting ways was best for both sides, Tomlin would've had a pretty big market and a deal could've been worked out. In reality, when ARII gave Tomlin a 3-year contract extension last season it pretty guaranteed at least 3 more seasons with Tomlin with the potential to move on from him in his contract year.
Actually, multiple is 3 or more. 2 is a pair or couple.“Multiple” does mean more than one.
But you’d think that being the greatest coach ever, there would have been a lot more interest.
I was expecting 3 or 4.
Do you not understand they are not gonna entertain anything or listenNo harm in listening!
I hated that gal in Breaking BadWhat?
We got Skylar Thompson ….CHAMPIOOONSHIP!
Holding onto this is why we are where we are as a franchise. Hopefully Rooney reads this. Tomlin won't be fired but he can tell Tomlin to let his Coordinators do their jobs without Tomlin sticking his fingers in.Steeler fans who really understand the culture and the ownership should know there is no way in hell they are going to entertain any offers for Coach Tomlin.

What did I just say? I know they aren’t going to trade him. We all know the Rooney way, I was stating my opinion when I said there’s no harm in listening. I did not suggest they would do that, listen, but it was what my opinion is of what I think they should do. Geez!Do you not understand they are not gonna entertain anything or listen
The Steelers and Tomlin love each other in case you guys didn’t notice

No different than when they run to the podium every year to draft players like KP they don't even use all their time to listen to what other teams might offer. Doesn't matter because their minds are already made up.What did I just say? I know they aren’t going to trade him. Looks like Wilson ultimately will be the scapegoat and they'll run it back with JF next year. They can rationalize other young, athletic QBs having success and write this season off as experimenting. While I agree that it would do no harm to listen, we all know that nothing will change until Tomlin decides to move on.
He can change out coordinators for ones of the same mind-set and personality and nothing will change, he will continue to have his thumbprint on all aspects of the team.
Not sure why this team even needs coordinators.
Like everyone else, I'll approach the 2025 season with anticipation, watch hopes dwindle, and be in this same place next January.
Yep ya can't fix stupidSteeler fans who really understand the culture and the ownership should know there is no way in hell they are going to entertain any offers for Coach Tomlin.

Well Wilson does suck verse anything but the league's trashLooks like Wilson ultimately will be the scapegoat and they'll run it back with JF next year. They can rationalize other young, athletic QBs having success and write this season off as experimenting.
I am just about to that point. I don't get worked up anymore during games and I already know like many here what the end of the season result will be.Well unless he is open to it.....total moot point. I will say this. Unless he turns this thing around massively (not a wildcard win) and they sign him again. I'm gonna be as close as I can be to being done with this **** as I can.
It's so frustrating. It just feels like we will just have to go into a holding pattern for three or more years. Stupidville
It's like when the calendar shifts the conversation to FA signings, the draft, TC and even winning close games against average teams in the regular season, the focus shifts away from the elephant in the room and Tomlin goes back to doing same things over again until the next December.I am just about to that point. I don't get worked up anymore during games and I already know like many here what the end of the season result will be.
I get a kick out of threads about free agents and the upcoming draft..what does it matter? We had the Killer Bs at one point and the end of season result is always the same. There is one common denominator to all this that doesn't change..we know who that is.
At the end of the Ravens game I seriously began to question why I should even care or watch this crap product anymore. And that is after 45+ years of being a fan.
Then it makes the headline a flat out lie.Actually, multiple is 3 or more. 2 is a pair or couple.
It's pretty simple: team reaches new amount in value every year and team is respectable enough to remain non losing, end of story. It's not a threat to gain more trophies but lawyer Rooney doesn't truly care, just do what's comfortable, leave him alone. He's worth billions. And he's not considered a Mike Brown on the cheap scale (although he's not far off).I'm sure the rooneys should feel insulted by the product that Mike has put on the field, if they actually give a **** about winning championships and the real Standard
You are correctDoubtful Tomlin would waive the no trade clause and move on to Chicago. With Fredo Rooney, Tomlin has a cushy job indefinitely and is coach for life if he wants. Moving on to Chicago on the other hand puts him at risk of being fired.
