ONLY if they have prior "hits" (no pun intended) in the league's drug policy offender count.
IFF it's both of their first offenses, they could get one game - IFF they are charged legally and found guilty.
They didn't fail an NFL drug test ya know, so this isn't in the same league. As far as I know the NFL doesn't have a Marijuana "possession" rule?

HOPE for first offender status, and that only ONE of them gets charged - or best NONE of them (chick claims possession).

IFF Bell gets charged with DUI, IFF he hasn't anything on his NFL "record" he can delay the legal ramifications - and Roger would likely wait for it to run through due process - and possibly not miss any time this year.

HOWEVER, we've seen the Steelers do it before, "conduct detrimental to the team", they could surely suspend them a game for that.
I don't see the Steelers suspending him for more than a game - putting it on the same level as beating your fiancée.

It will be fun/interesting to watch either way, surely will fuel the fire on discussions of weed vs. domestic violence.

Nothing says the TEAM can't suspend them for a PreSeason game - they get paid for ALL games, right, not just Regular Season?! Maybe not...

I believe both will plea and it is their first offense and nothing will happen but a fine. I've never liked sucker puncher Blount and did not like the signing because he seemed to me like a trouble maker.

I always tell my son that you should choose your friends wisely and don't hang with a bad crowd. If you see people doing things that they/you shouldn't be doing, get away from the situation. But even if you are associated with the bad seeds, YOU make your own decisions.
