Bell missing his burst

More like your the Dunning-Kruger of this board. You missed the point again! I was talking yards per carry I take it you know what that means. If you want to talk yards per catch, Bell isn't going to do well either.

FYI I did include a large sample. To put in in context 26 NFL running back with 60 carries or more have a higher yards per carry, and Bell's tied with 4 other players.

Now, is the entire NFL a big enough sample for you. DUH. Others here are noticing he's been Le'Veon slow lately and if you follow him, he tends to wear down later in the season.

As far as Ju-Ju goes, he's got a long way to rate with Brown, but he has been the better player in the last two games.

And again why do you need to compare players on the same team?? So what ju ju stats have been better great. Thats a good thing. Meaning maybe all the attention Brown gets has opened up Juju. Great now maybe Juju will help loosen things up for Bryant or Brown. Team game

Wow it took you a whole day looking up psychological terms before commenting. I doubt you could even correlate between cognitive and competence in reference to that diagnosis.

Let’s make it more simple for you to grasp. The only point being missing is facts from your statement about Bell. Give us the numbers Pertaining to Bell’s productivity commensurate with the other starting RBs (excluding the non-qualifiers).

Currently Bell is leading in Yards, Rushes. Tied for 3rd in TDS, is 2nd in YPG. I’ve done half the work idiot. You do the rest.

I don’t deny Bell looked off last game, everyone was. Shazier even made it known they didn’t feel like it was a game off a bye.

JuJu is great. But to say he has been a better player shows you don’t understand anything about matchups, schemes or basic player positions. Which play do you think set up the winning kick? Brown did. You are such a clown. AB is doubled even tripled teamed on routes. JuJu is getting the benefits of that. You are too dense to even realize it.

You want to read up on psychological terms? Here’s yours: NPD personality disorder. You exhibit classic traits for it.

Steelers still can't decide if they are a passing team or a running team.

And THAT statement is the crux of the problem folks. Thanks for pointing that out Spike. Maybe you can explain it in Coach terms.

My best guess if you think Vinny Testsverde should be in the hall of fame simply because he has many passing attempts and 46.000+ passing yards. I mean, this is a lot more passing yards than many Hall of fame QB's!. That is the logic you use... pure dog &hit thinking.

Bell only leads the NFL in rushing yards because has the most attempts. If you can't see how much he has slowed down, or interpret the data that 26 other backs rush for a higher yards per rush, most of which have lesser Offensive Lines might I suggest your gets your eyes checked too.

Ju-Ju, a 20 year old rookie has more TD's 5 to 3, a much higher yards per catch 18.0. to 14.7, dropped less passes that would have been big plays, created less turnovers, and has a better target to catch Ration than Brown.

He has out produced Brown in the past two game and blocks much better. I think we are seeing a star in the making. If he out preforms Brown for three games in a row, .I hope Brown doesn't go full diva Mode and demand the ball more often.

Like I said in a past thread, who gets less targets with the emergence of Ju-Ju? One correct answer is Brown. The other James.

Typical, avoiding proving your opinion with facts and deflecting with off topic comparisons. A journeyman QB? My logic? This coming from a guy who said a players head size would determine why a player wouldn’t make it in the NFL, who in fact will be a first ballot HOF. I just said provide the facts of how poorly you think Bell is playing in comparison to the other RBs and you haven’t.

You wimp out on proving your stance by ridiculousness name calling those who want the facts that support your opinions. And you never do.

I really feel sorry for you Coach. You probably a good guy, but just can’t admit sometimes your ideology is wrong. Thus you continually get punked on this board.....by everyone. It’s entertaining though. I give you that.

As for the JuJu to AB comment....I’ll leave it as it is. Your stupidity on that statement speaks for itself on its own.

So he supposed to put 150 every week??

Heck yes...................that would help things a lot...................seriously but sarcastic ly

Salute the nation

You guys complain every week about Ben, but Bell back to back games average 3ypc, no one can complain? This was a pretty popular topic all over Pittsburgh sports radio the past two days, Bell not looking right.

Bell has had monster games this year. In what game has ben been lights out this year?? So um yeah Bell can have an off game or two. Ben has been an issue in every game

Who cares what Bell did in week 2, this post is about right now, and I'm not the only one that sees it.

No. He could not. Cowher's record with Ben in the playoffs is MUCH better than Tomlin's, and he lost less to bad teams.

He's also done it seven times compared to two. You think that you would get the because you keep pointing out how many rushing attempts Bell has had making him the leagues leading rusher.

And still with off games he has produced over 100 total yards just as effective as Ben whom you defend at every turn. But Bell is a problem but Ben is ok?

My issues with the offense ranked

1. Ben
2 offensive line run blocking
3. Bryant
4. Bell slow start.
5 Gilbert's injury was huge

I defend Ben when players drop passes or don't even look for the ball, then people totally ignore that and cry about Ben's numbers. I see you have the OLine as number 2, but just run blocking, but not pass blocking? That's been pretty inconsistent too.
No one is bashing Bell, like alot bash Ben. Like I said this is a popular topic on Pittsburgh sports talk radio this week, his ypc is pretty low and the past two weeks his burst isn't there.

I'll settle for being able to hit the hole with greater velocity and a big play here or there. When I watch other teams running backs, I see what Bell is lacking. He's just not as dynamic as he used to be.

Lately, Bell has been 3.8 yards and a cloud of dust, and a not much as a receiver. While the yards per rush average is very low, sometimes Haley calls a run on 2nd and long, making it, in theory, a bit easier for Bell to gain yardage as most teams expect a pass in this situation. .

In other words you can't refute my points, data or observations. Bell isn't playing well right now. But you can pretend he is. When you have data the contrary on what I post, that will be a first.

Might I suggest you put in your K-Pax DVD today?

We are very low in sacks pass pressure has not been much of an issue. Its not about numbers for Ben. Its about being off target. Please tell me on this play where was Bell going even if he doesnt get tripped up on this play. There two more defenders right there.

Sacks and pressure are two different things, Ben threw 3 passes away to avoid sacks Sunday in the first half, the pass blocking wasn't great early in that game, Foster said that and Munchak had to light into them, hell even Bryant came over to them and told them to hang in there.
I guess you weren't in the game thread, I was ripping the Olines lack of run blocking, it was crap. The plays I'm talking about, and Stan, and other in Pittsburgh were the plays in space where he usually makes people miss, he didn't have that other gear. I'm not a Bell hater, just wondering if he was sick, has a minor injury, we need that guy at 100%

His burst looks fine here that is just bad luck and a good play the LB who just tripped him up.

Also curious what you think of the play design AB and Bell running the same route within 2yards of each other? It's ABs guy that peels off and makes the tackle
