Bell mvp

I'm not angry about it at all but I do shake my head at the fact that Bell is the same guy who smoked weed prior to a team flight...not exactly an MVP type of move. Everyone knows that Ben is the most important player to the Steelers but Bell really has had an amazing season. You cannot go wrong with him, Ben, or AB.

You know how many "MVP types" get baked before a team flight? You'd be shocked. Let's face it: It won't be long before it is legal in every state and the NFL will have to drop it off their forbidden list. The vilification of weed is by big pharma, as they don't want us to have anything that can replace their chemical drugs that the people could grown themselves. It cuts big drug out of the loop, and they sure don't want that.

People need to accept that we have 3 viable MVP's.
Yeah, but team leadership needs to sit everyone down and say before the vote, look vote as you please, but not one WR has won AP league MVP including Jerry Friggen Rice. Bell will not win it because he is in a dead heat vs. Murray for yards from scrimmage and Murray has substantially more rushing yards. Ben is the only viable candidate at the league wide level. That is piss poor on their part, but I guess Ben must be an ******* in real life.

There MUST be something wrong with Ben the person. That is literally the only possible conclusion I can come up with. He ****** threw 6 td's in two straight games. He is the leader of the team. They never won one game when he had a substandard performance and I'd say that was the Rats game, the Saints, Jets, Browns he played more than good enough vs TBay. Every single one of the other 10 he was above the line (Jax) or well above it (the rest). Bell was largely not existent in the run game in wins over the rats, KC, Atl, and Houston in loses he did very little against the Jets and the Rats. Look, I like Bell, but **** why can't Ben get any love once in a while. His career is winding down, he has an amazing year and he even gets shafted by his own teamates. Either he is a better man than me and really doesn't give a **** about any personal accolades or he is seething right now. I'n my mind he was a huge candidate for NFL MVP. How in the hell can you win that if you can't even get your own teams unanimous support. Fucktards.

Might be that he is not concerned over stats as he says repeatedly. Ben has had games that were disappointing regarding his performance. He may have even made a comment to his teammates that he does not want the award and wants it to go to one of his teammates. We do not know what has gone into the choice of MVP from the standpoint of the players. There are three stat leaders in the NFL right now and based in the standings of the national rankings AB would have the best case for being the most valuable.

Any of the three would be a good choice. The fact that two of the three did not get the award does not mean they are ******** in real life.

I'm not saying don't smoke weed. I'm saying don't be selfish and drive around getting high. You can justify all you want, but he was arrested. He put his weed need above the team.

I think Ben should of won. but has he ever won Team MVP. the only time I'm not sure was his rookie year.

My feeling is that Ben deflects credit, his teammates realize this, and know that he rather one of them win it. Ben himself says he votes for Heath Miller. Every. Single. Year.

I don't think you can vote for yourself. What is he supposed to say. Oh. I always vote for me!!!
Just watch the national media (NFLN) run with this story and say their is an anti Ben locker room. In 3-2-1

Bell would've been third on my list Ben and Brown are breaking franchise records. IMO it goes to the qb, he touches the ball every time and has a greater chance to **** things up than the other two.

And no doubt Bell plays a significant role in the pass game, but how many of Bell's big runs were a result of Ben checking to a better run play. No way to know, but my guess is a substantial amount.

Any of the three deserved it. No problem with Bell winning it. The other two dont need the confidence boost. Let the young man have it.

Jones was voted the MVI award. Most valuable injury. If he hadn't gotten injured early in the year, we wouldn't have the
reincarnated Harrison now.

Bell as MVP is a clear indicator that Tomlin needs to be fired, and Lebeau as well. Because this travesty is all their fault.

Really I don't hugely care about this that much. My concern is this. You watch tonight when they name pro bowl. He will get snubbed again. And all these snubbings will add up to the one that matters which is First ballot HOF. Ben Roethlisberger is a first ballot HOF QB. He is one of four QBs with 100 wins inside 150 games. Two Super Bowls and a third AFC championship. but they will look at no MVP, NO All pro, minimal pro bowl and continue the screw job.

Ben does not seem worried about it. He can buy his own yellow jacket and if any of the ******** in the selection committee want to call him about it it will be long distance. I think he would really rather win at least 2 more championships and getting 3 would be his main goal although that looks very unlikely right now.

No wayyyyy

Don't slap Tina because Ike is through -Taylor gets the nod there

hands down.

We have had mediocre scoring offenses with Ben his entire career and with Brown his entire career despite their personal gaudy stats in those years. We are finally a good scoring offense and the only new variable is the best player on the team, Mr. Bell.

Bell has been tearing up the league running the rock. Only Foster, The Bus, and Fast Willie have put up better numbers (wow, we had to wait this long). What's even more impressive, he hasn't fumbled the ball all season. Bell has become a true dual threat (rushing/receiving) for us, almost like Marshall Faulk was for the Rams years ago. MVP no doubt, congrats!

I wouldn't have a problem with the selection if I didn't think Ben was so close on the league MVP. I just really wanted to see what the league would do if Ben put up 350-400 yds and three tds and they beat the Bengles cause I think there is a better than good chance that Rogers will **** the bed against a very good Lions defense and lose the division. Then they would have been forced to give it to like Romo who will be like 1200 yds behind and it would lift the veil on the leagues bias against Ben. Now they have been given an out. He wasn't even his team MVP. Romo is in the exact same position as Ben, but his team is campaigning and even though Murray is the equal of Bell, watch who gets the team award over there. Even if Bell puts up another 200 against Cincy he just won't get the award. he will be in a dead heat with Murray and they won't give it to either.

Thanks for the link I was trying to remember if Ben was ever MVP. Here my take on this MVP:

#1 I wish it wasn't announced until after the season just in case there ever was hard feelings(not saying there is) and it don't carry over to the post season.
#2 Congrats to Bell great season keep it going well deserved!
#3 Can't be upset with any choice of the 3B's all could have won and all had great seasons.
#4 We are lucky to be talking about these 3 guys as MVP but let's not forget we have other guys that we could have consider as well....Heath....Gay......Heyward......and one not mentioned....THE WHOLE OLINE, without them all 3B's wouldn't have the seasons they had this year. The oline really has stepped it up this year, imo.
#5 I really am wondering what the deal is with Ben in the locker room, I mean he is the single most important person year in and year out and he only has won the award once? Also how long did it take for him to be voted team captain? I am not trying to stir the pot I am just trying to understand why is Ben so liked in the locker room or am I looking at this wrong?

And before I get ripped I am not upset that Bell won this I think any of the 3 could have won with the numbers they put up. I am pleased to be having this discussion since this is a very nice problem to have......Congrat Bell and bring on the playoff's!!!!!!

LeVeon Bell leads the NFL in yards from scrimmage from his first start last year until now, the entire NFL. There is no legitimate argument that he isn't deserving along with Ben and Brown. It's all personal preference or opinion.
