Further tests are needed I'm sure as they don't have a locker room MRI....but CMT stated what we already knew,...that it was hyper-extended,...but followed that with "it appears structurally fine."

Meaning the Dr./trainer physically checked the stability (drawer sign) and his knee appeared stable.

Drawer is used for ACLs. In a hyperextension, the PCL is the strained ligament. Good news is you can't walk on a torn PCL. He walked off the field. PCL should be slightly strained, but intact. It now comes down to comfort and a doctor that can help him manage the pain.

I'm not debating which ligament is or isn't injured. CMT said his knee seems structurally fine...that's all that matters.
