Ben's Records Tonight against the Colts

Congrats to the O line an Ben. Ben deserves much more credit than he ever receives. Ben sets a record yet all the talk on ESPN is Brady going 30-35.

the defense had something to do with a lot of Terry's early wins....they were pretty damn awesome

No, No, no ... The defense is the only reason Ben has won so much. Remember, he's just another average QB without them. (sarcasm)

You mean like in 2012 when we were #1 in the league in defense and went 8-8 and missed the playoffs? Or the 11 years with ,Ben where we always struggle scoring points in an offensive era ?

Like it or not that may well be the second best regular season game ever by a QB... Id think YA Tittle's 500+ yards with 7 td's and no picks might be better, but 522/6/0 and no sacks with 40completions out of 49 attempts...(92%)... every other big yardage game has really been with several Ints thrown

your math is off, it's 81%, which is still freaking awesome. especially with that many pass attempts.

D needs a lot of help. I would say corner help over anything. perhaps Jarvis helps some when he returns.

But right now it looks like it is a Cortez Allen problem, over anything else I can put a finger on.

Great win try to enjoy it...............

Hmmm didn't seem to be a problem TONIGHT, which is what the thread was/is about. Sorry if TONIGHT's performance gets your knickers in a bunch. The man is a Hall of Famer and all your bitching and moaning isn't gonna change it. Why don't you go fellate Brady somewhere else, there's a lil jizz on your chin and it's disgusting.

we did beat the Colts, right? Reading this thread, it doesn't seem like it. It was a big win and not many saw happening to this degree. Just enjoy it. We saw history. We beat JJ Watt and Andrew Luck back to back. That's pretty damn cool.

I think most people are happy tonight. I know I am...............

Tonight isn't the reason Ben should be in the HOF. It's his entire body of work. Tonight is just an example of how good he is when he gets some help. No, he still isn't Manning or Brady. But he is a damn good QB that deserves to be recognized as one of the best.

Sums it up nicely.

Also, Ben is only the second player in NFL history with 500 pass yards, 6 TDs and O INT. Other guy to do it? Not Manning, Brady, Brees, Montana, Favre, Rogers, etc. YA Titte in 1962.

The 2 drops (1 by Bryant and the other that hit Heath in the hands) would have gotten BB the record! Nice game! Glad to see a legit #2 in Bryant start to shine through. He has a long way to go but he will take some pressure off the "smurfs" to produce.

Ben now holds the designation as the first player in NFL history to have two games with more than 500 yards passing... that is to say the same amount of 500 yard passing games as Brady, Peyton, Brees, and Rodgers combined...

That is probably the best statistical game a QB has ever played... vs the Redskins I think... this is probably the second best.

It was probably the best QB and offensive performance I've ever watched in an NFL game.

Maybe when SF put up 55 on Denver in the Super Bowl.

Ben was perfect. It was like watching a perfect game in baseball. Every pass that left his hand was close, even those that fell incomplete (except maybe the crossing pass to Brown that got tipped late in the game).

The numbers are just outrageous. 80%+ completion percentage. 10+ YPA. No sacks. 42 points on 11 drives (and two of those drives had fumbles that weren't his fault). No turnovers. 39:00 of possession. 4 big plays of 20+ yards.

The fact Andrew Luck kept the pressure on was the reason Ben had to keep throwing and despite the high number of attempts, he STILL kept it perfect. Most "perfect" games are 25-30 attempts that give their teams huge leads and then they milk the clock. This was Ben having to make plays in the beginning, middle and end of the game to get victory.

Pretty special game to watch.

Namath was 15-28 for 497 and 6 TDs against the Colts in 1972, 33 yards a completion, best game ever. In Johny Unitas's last great game he was 26-45 for 376 and 2 TDs

I loved the total composure and control the offense played most of the game. Excellent job overall and great improvements. Hope to see more of this greatness next Sunday night against the Ratbirds and everyone else this season! Glad we showed Brady who rules, and Ben had an excellent game!

And??? Ben is the only QB with 2 500 yard games....6 TDs tonight with 0 interceptions.....

as I've told you...go get laid or a BJ....but lighten up whiner
