BIG UGLIES, BIG UGLIES, BIG UGLIES!!!!!!

Big UGLIES, Big UGLIES is NOT todays NFL....

You need a couple kick *** body guards & punishers, plus a top 10 QB & top quality playmakers....

I'm for 1 "Big Ugly", through free agency and 1 through the draft but you willl not win without an elite QB PERIOD....I like KP, but if Bryce Young is available (which I doubt) you need to grab that kid....He is special....

Bryce will be a game changer....We need a QB that puts the fear of God in the opposing DC's head...

Plus with 2 concussions with KP already in his young careeer durability is indeeed an issue

The game has changed and to think this is the 90's NFL is IMO pollyanic....

i find it amazing how across the league there are at least half with bad offfensive lines....

CAn anyone develop a decent O-line theses days? Cause They are a bunch of bad ones....
The pundits have been saying this for a decade and our lines and D continue to get worse. It all still starts with the big guys on both lines. If you can dominate the lines, you can win a lot of games. Get blown off the ball on both sides and you look like the Steelers and don't win playoff games. How many (mainly) running QB's have been getting hurt the past 2 years? A lot and it will only continue. It's nice to have but you need a guy that can still throw from the pocket.

needs heading to draft in order
1 DT
2 LT
3 CB
4 C/LG
5 large built SS to play in the box in sub pacakages

Players who have no business returning
Wormley unless he i s a de this guy is a a carbon copy of Ziggy hood gets washed away but when passing rushing can do damage time to time
Tyson doesn't have much left and its showing those key runs we needed a big push from the DL they couldnt get any push.
Maulet just put Witherspoon or Wallace in the slot when Jackson 111 is on the island draft Porter or Ringo with top pick can't go wrong with either CB

I wouldn't bring back Worm he was part of the run defense problem. I have no problem with spoon being the third corner he just isn't a number one option. I am leaning towards Porter over Ringo. I see Porter as a solid safe option. High floor.

As far as needs I am not pulling the trigger on a NT in 1. Preference there is LT or CB or WR. I think one of these is the first round pick. Unless the fall in love with a particular DE. (less likely)

Mirror & well laid out, slash ……. thanks for all your great post(s) along the way.!!!

NOT a chance in HELL I ignore the offensive or defensive lines. If a weapon is picked over a true blue LT or DL of that nature (Creed ring a bell), then this coaching / GM / owner is ****-ing nuts.

O’Canada is our biggest problem on this team, I just can’t get past his scheme or play calling.

Our 2nd biggest need “trench workers”.

BPA & value does come into play but if it’s close, the trench is the right pick.

Let me save you the trouble and let you know early on Bryce Young will not be available. Also, big uglies is always a good solution to improving your team.

I think the Steelers would trade down before pulling the trigger on another QB in a crazy world that Young or the Ohio State kid fell. They won't but....

If Canaduh is here next season, all bets are off. Not sure who will be our D scapegoat for Tomlin either. Tomlin still runs the D. There is no secret there.

I've been saying this for several years now. We still need to draft the unsexy but obviously critical BIG UGLIES on both sides of the ball. Are we going with 2 DL or 3? If it's 2, they need to be BIG and able to command double teams so our smaller OLB's can do their thing. Otherwise, our DL is too small and will get run over as they have been. We need a top draft pick now to replace Cam. He is probably done in a year, 2 at most. He needs major help now and his replacement. Maybe Leal and/or Loudermilk will turn into something. Both have shown something but not that they are studs - at least not yet.

The OL needs help as well. Cole and Davis are only signed for another year, I believe so who knows if they stay. Chuks is average. Moore is still having problems and Dotson isn't any better. We need to draft one or two OL studs - at least one this year and then another next year if we don't double-dip this year.

This must be done. Nothing else matters if you don't win in the trenches. The Steelers have been a case study in this fact.

P.S. Leglue came in at the end of last year and played pretty well. He is sitting on the PS. Why haven't they given him another shot?

P.S.S. This season is over. Hopefully, Tomlin is smart enough to start using Loudermilk, Robinson, etc. to see what he has for next year. They need playing time and not just special teams.

I’m all for putting the “young” guys in and get them moving and evaluated. Not sure coaching sees this aspect, until it happens.

Unfortunately never going to happen. Tomlin has never done that and never will! No one gets a chance unless one of "his" guys go down. Hell, Robinson wasn't even given a chance when Watt went down. Instead, they went elsewhere, so what message does that send players? Why keep a guy on the roster if you aren't confident that they can do the job, even marginally! I guess Harrison didn't teach this organization a thing!

I agree Bryce will be gone....But the game has changed, the rules have changed....Big Uglies can't even play ugly anymore without a flag being dropped....The game is heavily slanted to the skill position players....Facts

There are so many flags because our guys aren't good enough and get called for too many false starts and holding penalties. It's an improved group, but they need at least one stud to help this offense take the next step. I'd like to see a top left tackle and an athletic interior lineman. Until this line is fixed, they won't maximize their skill players.

An upgrade at LT and LG would definitely help the O achieve what they are capable of.
