Wonder how or who could organize a black out for Sunday nights game vs cowboys. Happens in college ball. This might be a mission for Justin. Only a few days left though.

You sit in the dark with all the lights out. Then you ponder which Steelers team will show up Sunday night.
Home games are pretty much blacked every game, with all the Steeler gear worn by the fans…
I would have to say that the Team jersey wearers are sporting the home versions anyway..

well given the reach Steeler Nation has on FB and instagram etc... Then maybe getting some media types to help talk aboiut it. Yeah i know many jersey wearers wear black.. Just an idea,,, im always impressed with the white out in Penn State Beaver Stadium

Penn State's white out pops because it's at night. I've seen colleges attempt a blackout at night and it doesn't work. It just looks dull. A blackout would have to be done for a 1 PM game. At night wearing gold could work.
What could make a steeler night game blackout work is the terrible towels. Everyone in black, swinging the gold towels would look cool.

The blackout at PNC Park years ago for the playoffs was awesome. The Steelers tried a blackout before, but as mentioned earlier, just about every home game is a blackout anyway. It looks cool at night with the dark feel and contrast against the gold seats.
