Hillary Clinton wins South Carolina as Bernie Sanders flops with black voters

COLUMBIA, S.C. — Hillary Clinton trounced her rival Bernie Sanders in South Carolina Saturday, her second decisive win in a week as she heads into Super Tuesday.

“Tomorrow, this campaign goes national,” Clinton said to a fired up crowd at the volleyball court in the University of South Carolina.

Her speech was largely aimed at GOP frontrunner Donald Trump, as if she were already the nominee making a general election pitch

Democratic Voter Turnout Is Down A WHOPPING 26% In 2016 Compared To 2008

The trend continued in South Carolina on Saturday. Democrat turnout was week as Hillary skunked Socialist Bernie Sanders.

Democrats have seen a 26 percent decrease in the number of voters and caucusgoers who have showed up to the polls this year compared to 2008, when the party last had a competitive primary race.

Interestingly enough, that steep decline is the inverse of the spike in Republican turnout this cycle compared to 2012, when Mitt Romney earned the party’s nomination.

532,000 South Carolina Democrats voted in 2008, only 367,000 showed up Saturday.

This I'm aware of. I've posted here before about the vast differences between American Jews and Israeli Jews. They are not the same. But they are all Jews. It is completely odd to me that they would support a party that would hold up a leader who would turn his back on Israel, one of our greatest allies over the past many decades. Regardless whether they believe in the "State" of Israel or not. It's surprising to me that one Jew would willingly advocate turning their backs on other Jews.

Something is unraveling right now in the Democratic Party. Come November, it could cost them the White House.

For decades, the "Get Out the Vote" campaigns and voter registration drives have been driven by liberals. The logic is this: the bulk of unregistered voters in the United States have Democratic leanings. The more people who are registered and the more people who vote increases the likelihood that Democratic candidates will win.

College campuses and youth events are gold mines for unregistered voters. In previous presidential elections, you couldn't step foot on a college campus or go to a concert in the country without being hounded to register.

But it doesn’t seem to be a priority this year, and I can’t help but to think that party leaders don’t mind.
