Buggs the new Keisel?

Yeah I read that article too. What I took from that was he was pretty damn productive for them to break down film and say he was inconsistent. But there was a draft report questioning his work ethic. Not to mention a soso combine.

So yeah he had enough knocks to knock him down. I think he is a developmental project. But when a player doesn't have a lot of top college experience I think it is reasonable to not be surprised at inconsistent tape.

We will see soon enough how well he consistently holds up.

All that said I like his potential.

Lots of motivational flags from academics to on field play. His combine numbers were poor. I don't know, but it wouldn't shock me if the kid just wasn't prepared for the combine drills. If you are out of shape at the combine or if your drill techniques are poor, coaches will see it immediately. I repeat, I don't know if that was why he tested poorly, but I think it is a fair speculation.

Also, cardio work isn't something the big guys like. It could well be that what the guy hates is cardio work. Lack of conditioning would certainly show up on the field and at the combine. I do NOT know if that is the case with him. But you know who does know? The guy knows him better than anyone in the NFL? Karl Dunbar. If anyone knows what drives the kid or what obstacles the kid may have or is dealing with (intelligence, family life, cognitive issues such as reading disability), it would be Dunbar. I'd bet if the kid has any chance to 'catch fire' in the NFL, it will be under Dunbar.

All that said, I certainly like the position pick and as stated, I like his potential. Lets see what happens in camp. Kid has boom or washout written all over him, but he could be another interesting watch at camp.

Yep those late round prospects you think a fair amount bust out. So nice to see one here and there that has some gem potential. On Dunbar I would think he would be reluctant to sign off on him if he didn't like his work ethic. And if there is anything he should know about the kid, it is that.

He's got a better shot than that bum Frazier from last year.

no ****. Not sure why those two are even brought up in the same sentence other than being from the same school and late round prospects. Two totally different circumstances. As Buggs fell in the draft Frazier was a backup in college. And was mostly touted as a backup if he would make it. Which obviously he didn't. Just a silly comparison.

That is a penalty for pantomiming violence

Not to be mistaken with the word pantomime.

From growin up with him (my father) I learned the pantomime.

There are seventeen different things a guy can do when he lies to give himself away.

A guy's got seventeen pantomimes.

A woman's got twenty, a guy's got seventeen.

But if you know 'em like you know your own face, they beat lie detectors all to hell.

Omar, you've never seen one of the great scenes in cinematic history?

It goes on for a few more minutes in other clips, but NSFW.

And played the same position. That's 3 similar things. Not so crazy they are compared. But I agree Buggs has better shot of sticking.

How creative. Thank you.

Just having a little fun Bobby. You know, look at Keisel's and look at Bugg's height & weight, they're both identical. They may be onto something you found here.

No there is room for both, Buggs would be replacing Walton.

Stop it. Don't say that. LOL. I was a huge Big Dan fan when he came out of college but he is not an NFL caliber player after all these years. Even though he's a backup, they should easily be able to upgrade him.

I'm still pissed we took Frazier instead of Auden Tate. We would have had our starting Z receiver in the 7th round...
