Buy American - No Chinese products ever again!

Yeah, interesting that not a single one has shown up here.

Not true. ElftardPolo43Liar showed up to say he was going to continue to buy Chinese products.

Liberals ... so ******* corrupt, ugly, stupid and traitorous they will support a genocidal communist nation while vilifying and spitting on America.

I meant the three stooges, but point taken.

******* China, murderous, lying ********.

All up, China’s total trade surplus rose to US $58.34 billion in August, compared with US $56.58 billion in July.

Trade surplus with the United States of $58 billion per month.

You want to know why - really why - the Washington insiders were so panicked at a Trump re-election? They are bought-and-paid-for tools of communist China and their murderous overlords did not want Trump continuing the trade war the Chinese could never, ever, ever win.

Looking at a new recliner to fall asleep in watching the Stillers. As far as I can tell La-Z-Boy may be as close to American made as I'll get. They at least still have a few plants here and I found one of their models that fits me well.

Not good.

LONDON, Oct 11 (Reuters) - China has won the artificial intelligence battle with the United States and is heading towards global dominance because of its technological advances, the Pentagon's former software chief told the Financial Times.

China, the world’s second largest economy, is likely to dominate many of the key emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, synthetic biology and genetics within a decade or so, according to Western intelligence assessments.

Nicolas Chaillan, the Pentagon's first chief software officer who resigned in protest against the slow pace of technological transformation in the U.S. military, said the failure to respond was putting the United States at risk.

"We have no competing fighting chance against China in 15 to 20 years. Right now, it’s already a done deal; it is already over in my opinion," he told the newspaper. "Whether it takes a war or not is kind of anecdotal."

China was set to dominate the future of the world, controlling everything from media narratives to geopolitics, he said.

Chaillan blamed sluggish innovation, the reluctance of U.S. companies such as Google (GOOGL.O) to work with the state on AI and extensive ethical debates over the technology.

Google was not immediately available for comment outside business hours.

Chinese companies, Chaillan said, were obliged to work with their government and were making "massive investment" in AI without regard to ethics.

He said U.S. cyber defences in some government departments were at "kindergarten level".

Chaillan announced his resignation at the beginning of September, saying military officials were repeatedly put in charge of cyber initiatives for which they lacked experience.

For this reason alone Trump should have won. He actually took them on. You have to agree on this issue. Joe is a puppet of China.

I think you missed the small print, Lebanon. This has been going on for many years, spanning several presidencies. Nothing Trump did changed any of it. Along with everything else, this too was just a bunch of empty words, hot air, posturing and political propaganda. I know you don't agree.

No ****. While China's children have been learning in school, our kids don't know which bathroom to use. We graduate kids that can't read because reading is racist. Our public education is, and has been, ****. Our kids have been failed by liberal feel good policies.

China actively worked to elect Joe. they have been proven to be in bed with the Biden’s interests. Trump was actively working on breaking the trade deficit issues with China and that is fact as proven by by his tariffs. No President in recent history was harder on China. they desperately wanted him out. You can’t argue any of those facts.

While I actually have to agree with Tibs that this has been going on a long time, Trump at least was trying to steer the ship in a different direction. Now it's back to full speed ahead with Beijing Joe.

You can’t argue any of those facts.

I wouldn't call any of those facts. Not by a long shot. It would be great to move away from rah-rah partisan politics and start dealing with facts and realities on the ground.

And how do we do that with a guy in office who rolls over and shows his belly at every turn. Who's family is in bed China? Trump tried to deal with China and had a plan. That is a big reason he was removed was the cash cow was threatened and COngress only gives a **** about money. You still don't get it do you. The establishment on both sides of the aisle is owned by China. We need a Trump maverick who isn't.

Again, besides holding rah rah rallies and giving a boatload of lip service, what is it that Trump accomplished? Read the articles above. This isn’t some liberal, lefty, partisan opinion but legit economic analysis. The answer is nothing. At least nothing good.

And Trump wasn’t *removed.* He was voted out of office by 81 million Americans who had enough of his bullshit.

I'm not buying this. I worked in communications at Langley AFB, specifically on SIPRnet, and the tech I was working on was about 10 years ahead of what was available to the general public. You can imagine my surprise when I got out and joined a civilian company and couldn't order VPN headends that were Gigabit Ethernet capable. "That doesn't exist" I was told by the distributor.

One last point, Everything I worked on was to a specific standard and I had to sign off on each task. We were audited monthly by an independent contractor who was contractually incentivized to find **** that was wrong. They made my life an absolute Hell. I also worked at several government agencies at the Federal level as a contractor (Army and Navy) and I had to follow their standards and provide a Bill of Materials using only equipment that was approved by the department. I find it hard to believe that any government agency has a kindergarten level cyber defense.

If you say so. Many of those who legitimately voted for him are having serious remorse now. Unlike you have they have realized their mistake.

Biden may not be the second coming of JFK, Truman or Roosevelt, he may have plenty of warts, but removing the unhinged, hateful & divisive Trump from office is something nobody will ever regret.

Yep Biden has united our country, hahahahahaha.

Speaking of Biden , what about all those kids he killed in Afghanistan ?

Seems all but 38% of the Country regret it particularly independents. You are in a small minority of diehards who would have stayed on the Titanic as it went under thinking it couldn't sink as you drown. Maybe you don't really believe this and just can't admit it as you won't give certain posters here the satisfaction of it. I am the eternal optimist who thinks you really do understand how bad the left has become and how much most of what is claimed about Trump is just outright lies, aside form him being an ***. The left has totally lost all touch with reality on it's current trajectory.

Low approval ratings didn't bother you for four straight years, cause he was *your* guy.

Biden's the President. This is America, he has a four-year term to get things right. Or fail doing so, and he'll be a one-term President like the last guy. He inherited a mess of an economy & a disastrous pandemic. I'm not happy with a whole lot of things regarding his performance thus far. Same goes for Dems in Congress. Things are not looking good at all. None of this validates or sugarcoats the chaos and misery that MAGA/Trump brought on the nation. In many ways, we're still suffering from it. But Biden and the Dems are nowhere near doing a good enough job right now. I'm not denying that.
