Bye Bye Playoffs

I will say Ben seems to do better against the better teams.

Let us hope that is a case next week.

Because that is the BEn we will need to move on from Cinci (I think it is Cinci)

Steelers win
Jets lose
Steelers are in

Chances of that happening? Something like 47%
Steelers always rely on other teams to get in. Even if they do get in who is this defense stopping?

47% is better than 45% and that was enough.

Someone needs to do a "Tony Harding" on Blake.

As far as the playoffs, just guiño of it as one more oportunity for haters to spew Tomlinson hate. smh

10 out of 16 regular season games. Playoffs? We'll see...

Tomlin's win % .636

Cowher's win % .623

Among current coaches who've had the job at least 4 seasons, only Mike McCarthy and Bill Belicheat have a higher percentage

Tomlin's a ******* winner. Period. .

Now replace win % with QBs.

Tomlin has been as good as his QB. Cowher was good despite his QBs.

Cowher had some monstrous defenses too. Tomlin had to turn over an entire defense while remaining competitive.

And if you look at Ben's production under Cowher it PALES in comparison to his production under Tomlin.

So it cuts both ways. Bottom line is, Tomlin's a good coach and the only people who don't recognize that seem to be Steelers "fans".

You mean Tonya Harding?

lol. You haven't heard? From the time she was a child, she preferred playing with match box cars rather than Barbies. In an extreme act of courage... lol

Good catch!

I see, and how has Tomlin done in replacing Hardy Nickerson, Brenston Buckner, Carnell Lake, Rod Woodson and Chad Brown? Oh, wait... that was Cowher.

He hired Lake, so he may have to replace him some day ;)

10-6 But 4 of the losses are to playoff teams. What a difference a week makes. Thank you Buffalo!

Shottenhiemer was a good coach too, knew his stuff, produced like a mofo when it came to making the playoffs.... Wayne fonts... tony Dungy... Coaches have expiration dates and few coaches have won a superbowl this late into a tenure. If we miss or flame out of the playoffs early then even a good coach can get dismissed because there have rarely in the NFL been great coaches... and Tomlin is not one of those. I think Cowher is HOF worthy but I wouldn't have batted an eye if the rooneys had dismissed him in 00.... and there was talk of that too.... Coaches are hired to be fired and before noll Dan had no qualms about axing a coach.... and they certainly have forced out their share of coordinators when they got stale
