You do understand that no matter how "brave" or "courageous" Steelers fans are, it has absolutely no bearing whatsoever as to whether or not the Steelers actually win and actually get into the playoffs, right? I know, I know. The Steelers always win when you wear your favorite socks.

Thats just it, WE reley on someone else to get us into the playoffs...............TRUE makings of mediocer. Why can't we be a lock at this stage of the season??? Personal / coaching / talent / injury / coaching???? At best we are a mediocer team that is 9-6, possibly 10-6. Nothing more and nothing less. I think with the suspentions / injuries / stubornesss / etc., this team exeaded their ability. If by some some chance they make the playoffs, lets hope they exceed their ability and put a 4 game streak into play.

Big game next week is surely Vikings @ Packers. If the Vikings win that one they'll host Seattle in the WC round. If the Vikings lose then they'll either travel to Washington or Green Bay depending on the outcome of the Cardinals/Seattle game.

Our playoff fate is in the hands of Rex Ryan... I want heads to roll... or at a bare minimum put a curfew on Ben, Give Lake's buddy Blake a Knee for the rest of the season, and glue tomlin's mouth shut for the rest of the season so I don't have to hear him drivel about why we lose to crappy teams and it aint our fault
Jokingly (well sorta) texted my son yesterday that I hoped Blake's "back spasms" were of the season ending variety.
I agree, but really what difference would it make now with only one game left (I'm assuming the Jets aren't the Steelers and will take care of business next week)? I'm sure he'll come into training camp next year as the incumbent starter. Boykin will be long gone to free agency. The damage is done.
Kind of like the DC match-up but that means Arizona beat Seattle. Should Seattle win in this scenario it's off to Green Bay, Two games there in a row is brutal. The Vikings will know at game time what the seeding would be.
In reality I want to see the Vikings go up to Green Bay on Sunday and rake them into submission and accept a home playoff game against Russel Wilson & Company. A loss on Sunday is by no means end-game though.
Beats the hell out of hoping Buffalo can rise from the dead to clip the Jets wings.

When you have everything in your hands and can't get it done you aren't going anywhere in the post season anyway. Everybody ahead of us has to lose now for us to get in and that is very unlikely to happen. Maybe next year Mr Tomlin will have a prepared and disciplined team on the field.
