That's the thing I never understood about a lot of sports fans who will love a player if they are a nice guy and dump hard on a player if you don't agree with how they handle themselves off the field.........

They aren't your friend

And regardless of how people.like to push it, they are not role models

So this is what I find funny is people just read what they want. Im not saying Cam Heyward is better then Ben. Im saying if you look at accolades.....and they do. Hes as much of a lock for the HOF.
Its Rookie of the year vs. Man of the year
And it's zero All Pro selections vs 5 including 4 1st team. Its not even really close when you look at it that way. And when you consider the media's bias against Ben and love for Cam.....you can bank on what Im saying.
Ben's SB and stats get him in. Hopefully 1st ballot. Not convinced on that one. Cam's accolades certainly get him in too. Probably not first ballot but not long.

I think Cam gets in the HOF at some point. Without the playoff success(ZERO) he is just another player to get in though. Play enough years and you can put up some stats. He will be an underwhelming HOFer......oops....sorry.... an underwhelming HOFer who won the Man of the year award.

I find it humerous that people think MOTY award is something special in the terms of FOOTBALL. I think it is great what "all" the players do off the field. To me though. It has nothing to do with football. All of them should be awarded for their actions off the field yearly. What they all do is commendable.

Have a feeling they will make Ben wait out at least 1-2 “sweat years” to keep with the bias against both him and the Steelers

Who knows

Maybe the outside love for Cam will trump the Steeler HoF bias.

When will a true stud like Hines escape the log jam at WR and get to sit in his rightful place? Have a feeling the logjam in front of him will make his wait far longer than necessary.

Don't forget.. six straight times he lost at home in the playoffs by double digits...that is historic I believe.🤔

He will get in. And great. Another Steeler in there. Probably will be my least fav Steeler in the HOF.

Would be nice if he could get at least one playoff victory. If anyone deserves it ....it's Cam. No?

Meh.....so far Watt hasn't cried about wanting more money year after year... and talk about taking screenshots of fans to prove them wrong...but if/when he does that it is possible I might sour on him also.

I have been simply posting my beliefs and thoughts. You have yours and I have mine.

I even agree that he will get in. I mean he won the MOTY award after all. Hopefully the HOF committee won't frown on what he has done during the playoffs. Or hasn't done....and that is WIN.

That should be this years team motto.....win one(playoff game) for Cam. The team rallied for the Bus after all and won a SB.... all I am saying.. A A ron get Cam his playoff victory!!!!!

I only think someone should get in is if they surpass the standards the HOF sets......like this is what's required for you to get in and if you pass that standard then absolutely that player should get in........of course there is a lot of subjectivity in the whole process but like guys like Owen's waiting a while was absolutely absurd.......I don't care for the guy but what's fair is fair......if u play as good or better than the guys that are in there you should be part of the club end of story

Man people love Hines in the Burgh. That's a tough nut to argue against and I need to do some more research to intelligently discuss that outside of the endless games I saw him play. I think though (and this is based on guys that are in there and guys who have yet to go in) he's deserving but people's love for Hines clouds their objectivity.....not saying you. For instance many Steelers fans think Ward deserves to go in before AB......and as great as Ward was that's absurd. Based on great receivers that haven't gotten in I think he's a senior selection committee pick one day and that's a maybe........he was so good and did so many little things great but he WAS NOT a dominant receiver during his era.......he was very good

As far as James, I actually think.James deserves to.go in before Hines because again the selection committee really looks at peak period a lot......James should be looked at just like Terrell Davis or Sterling Sharpe......if they are gonna let them in, James should be in because for his say 5 year window he was the top 3 at his position culminating with DPOY.......Hines just was never as good at WR as James was at OLB but I know many will.disagree profoundly with me saying Hines is borderline at best. I just don't let my love for him as a player affect whether I think he's worthy.....and again not saying u do

If I had to rank HOF worthiness on remaining players or current players (and I'm not gonna include LC in here) I'd say.......and this is in order of worthiness based on dominance within his position during his era, and accolades and stats I'd rank them.....

1) AB
2) Watt
3) Big Ben
4) Harrison
5) Cam
6) Hines
