So he's most likely going to be released the Colts before his bonus of $7 Million is due in March.

He would look good in Black & Gold, he was never used properly in Philthy!

Thoughts?

Please .... NO.
All the tools in the world. He's mentally shot though .... and he has a host of issues that he can't/won't correct.

"Frankly, none of what happened down the stretch or the season finale surprised the Eagles. As it became apparent when the organization was permanently moving away from Wentz, the themes that surrounded the quarterback were consistent. There was frustration that he often reverted to bad mechanics, no matter how much emphasis was placed on addressing the harmful habits. He had a stubbornness that irritated coaches, most notably Doug Pederson, whose crumbling relationship with Wentz played a small part in Pederson’s firing. And most of all, Wentz had a penchant for making things more complicated than they had to be in the offense, either failing to embrace the simple plays or forcing bad decisions. So much so that the Eagles' internal data on dropped interceptions placed Wentz among the NFL’s worst."

Better off going with what we have on board than trying to fix Wentz.

NoTTa chance in coooche's hell and high water LUXURY (full tank) Car heater.

Salute the nation

I might be a little more on the fence than the average fan. I am thinking the guy probably can be had on the cheap. So if you want to sign him on a one year why would that stop you from drafting or bringing in a Rudy upgrade? And if he turns out to be a Rudy upgrade even better. Perhaps in the least he turns out as a depth upgrade. It isn't like this team is sitting in the lap of luxury. The roster needs depth and competition. If they feel Wentz is even a Haskins upgrade what is the harm in adding him for the right coin? If the money isn't honey- runny.

sounds like our guy going forward

no matter how ****** that result is, at least he didn't take the safety there. The safety basically ends the game. At best you're getting it with 30 seconds or less and no timeouts and have to go about 50 yards to get a field goal attempt to win. They got the ball back and tied to send it to overtime.

And no, I don't want him.

I thought when he started out in Philly he was going to be a very good QB. He was making plays and looked like he was going to be special but man did he take a nose dive. He had some severe injuries that most likely contributed to his decline but you would thought he would have gotten past that. This guy couldn’t make it with Frank Reich in Indy that concerns me. We have absolutely no one here on staff as qualified as Frank Reich so I say a hard pass.

No. I’ll take Rudolph or see if Landry Jones is available somewhere. Heck, I’ll take another year of Duck Hodges. There are former Eagles from that Super Bowl team who said that Foles was just a better all around quarterback and just better at commanding the offense. Wentz reportedly just came apart in pressure situations- Foles was cool and collected.

Wentz? Ehhhhhh...... Can we at least try to get Jimmy G or Rodgers first??

I can see it happening but I think Rudy would be better.

Good argument..

But if he has a decent game in Jacksonville, he takes that team to the playoffs and maybe wins a game....or two..
The Colts were going to be tough out if they made the tournament.

Not fair Badcat.

Much better mobility and accuracy than that guy.
Mobility...eh...I'll give you that. Accuracy, reading defenses, leadership is all on par with Graham

What has Wentz done with other teams that leads us to believe he would be successful here? Same goes with Mariotta.
