Cee Dee Lamb was placed on the reserved/did not report list

Just because you keep saying paying a top-10 WR $28 million is overpaying doesn't mean you are going to be right. That is probably the minimum going rate for receivers of his caliber right now.
If you take his career as a whole, he isn't close to a top 10 receiver. Average at best numbers. Meanwhile Tyreek Hill 30 mil. You consider them the same caliber WR??

Do I consider the 10 or so QBs getting paid more than Mahomes better than Mahomes?

Who’s your top 10?

I have no problem paying for top talent, Aiyuk isn't top talent. Just because teams are overpaying for trash QB's like Watson, Love, Murray etc doesn't make it the right move.

You do know that you're just talking in circles now, right???

Who's your top-10 receivers and where do you put Aiyuk? Also, do you not understand this is how contracts go in the NFL today? The best players should be the highest paid, but that isn't how it works.

You're making an argument about something that was never a thing. Three or four first rounders would also be too much, lol. ;)
Maybe, but I'm against even offering one 1st rounder but that's just me. Then we have to pay him $30 mill a year. Not worth it. Build from the inside out. Get with it Kahn. Don't go desperate.

If the 9ers, with a talent laden roster capable of SB hopes, again, cannot afford to pay both Deebo and Aiyuk at WR, then how do we expect the Steelers to do the same for Aiyuk and Pickens?

Doesn't that mean that we'd have to pay our QB less for at least a few years? That'd mean no Fields or Wilson next year and a rookie QB first in the draft.......then why bother with Aiyuk now; save the draft capital.

They can, they just don't want to pay Aiyuk his asking price.

They have these other guys McCaffrey and kittle that demand some pretty penny and are key O weapons too.

Thge salary cap is only a detriment when teams want it to be.
