Very odd comment. I don't have any type of "hope" as far as what type of maniac carries out a cold-blooded political assassination like this. If it's some deranged lefty, then so be it. If it's someone on the right, or apolitical, so be it. Or some batshit crazy killer, like those who mow down school children far too often in America. Whatever the case, the fact is, Charlie Kirk was murdered in broad daylight. Sadly, nothing will change that. Trump and MAGA jumped all over this from the word go, fingering Dems and liberals, with zero proof that was the case.
 

In a phone interview Friday, someone who said they were friends with Robinson in high school– who asked to remain anonymous – said that Robinson was “pretty left on everything” and was “the only member of his family that was, like, really leftist”.

“The rest of his family was very hard Republican – like gun-loving, everything,” the friend said. “He was really the only one that was on the left.”

You seemed awfully hyped up when you thought you had a “he’s a Trumper” angle. I don’t think your dreams will come true in this regard. Clearly anyone who shoots another human in cold blood over opinions is not mentally well. The question is what type of rhetoric influences mentally unwell people to commit violence. Certainly that’s possible on both sides. It seems unlikely a conservative Christian commentator was assassinated for not being “conservative enough”. I mean there are people who support abortion up til birth and think men who put on a dress magically become women. You’d think he’d start off with those types of folks

I’m actually heartened to see Tibs call himself a centrist. He’s not the only backpedaler these last few days. I hope the murderer is enjoying the fact that he pushed a lot of people to the right.
