99 times out of a hundred someone's first reaction is EXACTLY how they feel. Only later after the have had a moment to think about what they said, and how it was received, do they then try to walk things back.

Nope. You can see his nipples. No vest. That round would punch right through a standard vest if he did have one on without armor. That's a lot of kinetic energy from an old ww2 30.06 Swedish mauser .
That's the rifle they found. I really only care about them finding the guy/guys who did it.
A public hanging would suffice.

Absolutely gutted by the political violence stateside. The cold-blooded murder and assassination of Charlie Kirk is reprehensible. Violence is never the answer. My condolences to his wife Erika, his daughters, family and all those who knew and loved him. I agreed with very little that Charlie Kirk stood for politically, but it was crystal clear to me he was a patriot, and an extremely gifted, astute political activist who reached millions, and wanted the best for the country.
This is a sad day for America, and for the future of this nation. Left or right, Democratic, Republican, or Independent, we must find a way to coexist, and be able to debate openly, and if need be, to agree to disagree. Charlie Kirk represented exactly that, a willingness to speak freely, and thoughtfully, not only with like-minded folks, but with those who vehemently disagreed with, and opposed his views. The fact that he was silenced forever in this heinous murder is a huge blow to the hope that Americans can find some semblance of a middle ground. I hope that his spirit of open discourse and dialogue lives on, and becomes his legacy.

Democrats can't debate because they've taken the 100% WRONG side of every issue because they hate one man so badly that if he said he liked dogs, they'd get rid of their dog. Just some more of my thoughts that I wrote to put on Facebook. But honestly I can't do it because I'm so sick and tired of hearing the same old lame bullshit arguments and triangulations from leftwingers so I won't subject myself to it on a public forum.
Many of you can probably relate to the fact that there are plenty of good, kind, decent people in my life whom I love, respect and care about, whose views do not always align with mine. Even within my own nuclear family. What I respected most about Charlie Kirk was his willingness to welcome all viewpoints to his platform and calmly debate, sometimes with a sense of humor, never becoming insulting, demeaning, or angry. Seems like a lost art these days (I’ve been a guilty party myself at times, if I’m honest).
I’ve been reflecting on the many conversations I’ve watched and something that strikes me is that while many of the college students he engaged were passionate about their beliefs, they were not intellectually prepared to debate him.
I would hope that our educational institutions would foster these types of dialogues, allowing students ample opportunity to explore and debate opposing points of view. All too often now it seems students are encouraged to banish, shut down, ostracize and silence opposing points of view. Some seem to have the attitude that opinions are oppression, and words are violence. This should go without saying, but we do not have to hate those with whom we disagree! We can sometimes learn from them, and sometimes even persuade them. I’m reminded that Bill Clinton and Barack Obama once espoused some of the same views that Charlie Kirk was despised for. If your beliefs stand up to vigorous examination, if you can make factual and convincing arguments, you don’t have a need to silence anyone.
Do we really want to live in a country where murder is an acceptable solution to a viewpoint you were unable to take down intellectually? Where does that road end? Taking your opponent out in this cowardly fashion doesn’t persuade anyone. It hardens those who already oppose you. It makes you look intellectually helpless and weak. For all those justifying or worse, celebrating this assassination, know that you aren’t winning anyone over to your side. You’re showing people who you are, and it’s not someone most people want to be.
