Charlie Kirk shot from a distance, direct hit

Does it really matter in the grand scheme of things? I realize words mean things, but it doesn’t change anything as it pertains to how liberals feel about conservatives and vice versa. There is nothing on earth that is going to get these people to show any kind of sympathy or empathy for a person with conservative views.

I’ve seen him called divisive and controversial. Why? Because he didn’t subscribe to the ****** up liberal world view? That’s controversial?

In their minds, he deserved it. I read a post where a person hoped the bullet wasn’t hurt when it hit Charlie Kirk. That’s what we’re dealing with.

To hell with every last one of them. They’re not normal or mainstream. They’re hateful, evil, violent demons.

Charlie Kirk was not a hero to me, but I liked to listen to him. He was a man of God, a human, with a wife and family. He was teaching people how to discuss differences of opinion without being total shitbags. And he was murdered for it. And some sick ******** are cheering it.

This is where we are. Killing each other over a difference in political ideology. Really?
Yes, in the liberal world facts are controversial.

A biological male is a person having one X chromosome and one Y chromosome. That is now controversial.

Sad day for America. I can only hope that this abomination is not lost on the youth that have not been totally indoctrinated. For the adults it is far too late for them unfortunately. They'll eventually worry themselves into an early grave so **** em.

Now it's time for those who were able to take a fraction of what he was so gifted at relaying, to heart. Put it towards their daily lives and make a better life for themselves and those around them in a positive manner.

More bloodshed is not the answer. I'm sure CK would not want his death to be a springboard to more violence. That's just what the lunatic left wants and no doubt the videos and crap spewed by the MSM were set up to help fan the flames.
At what point do we stop being hunted? If we're all honest here, our thoughts and feelings laid bare, we're mourning far more than an honorable man, Father, and Husband who was murdered, no, assassinated in broad day light; we're mourning that he represented the embodiment of free speech, understanding, and traditional Christian values showing love even to those with whom he disagreed with. He was someone that we could point to and say "See, this is who we are...we don't hate you because your beliefs are different from our own" The radical left took away a beacon of traditional American values from us, and that is why this stings so terribly.

So what now? Sit on our laurels while activist Judges release violent criminals back into society to murder innocent women on public transportation in cold blood, or burning them alive a few months ago? Leftist politicians opened the sovereign borders of our nation and used our tax dollars to fly them into key states to steal power away from our collective voices. Soros, Blackrock and others financing and organizing terrorist mobs to loot and burn our neighborhoods disguised as anti-hate or anti-racism?

I'm not calling to match violence with violence, but we need to start fighting back as a collective. Enough is enough and I'm here to tell you that I'll be fighting against the grain of this woke culture where, in the past, I've just let them be to keep my peace. I will no longer play their stupid games and turn a blind eye to their insanity. I'm done.

As my Democrat House Rep. said in a statement, "In America we solve our differences at the ballot box".
Fine enough, we can do that.

This isn’t my strong suit and I don’t even know how to begin to put into words the loss I am feeling right now over the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Charlie wasn’t just a friend — he was like a little brother to me - and to millions of people around the world - he was a true inspiration.

He was one of the most courageous, principled men I’ve ever known, and he lived every day with purpose. His faith in God was unshakable, his love for Erika was inspiring, and the way he adored and cared for his two beautiful kids showed the kind of man he truly was.

Charlie dedicated his life to something bigger than himself. He fought tirelessly for this country, for the values that make America great, and for the next generation. The impact he had on young people — reaching them in masses, giving them courage to stand up, to think for themselves, and to fight for freedom — is immeasurable. There is no question that Charlie’s work and his voice helped my father win the presidency. He changed the direction of this nation.

Charlie was never a threat to anyone. He was civil, he was kind, he listened and responded with respect. The only “threat” he ever posed was that he was incredibly effective. He was a powerful messenger of truth, and people heard that truth. That’s what made him a target.

This loss is absolutely devastating — not only for Erika and the kids, but for our country. We’ve lost a leader, a fighter, and a man whose character and conviction were rare. Too rare. To think that his life was cut short by a brutal, heinous, evil act is beyond comprehension. It is horrible and it is heartbreaking.

Moments like this remind us just how fragile life is. We can’t wait to tell people how much they mean to us — we can’t admire them in silence. Charlie knew he was loved, but I want to say it again: he was a brother to me, and I will carry that with me forever.

I know Charlie’s legacy doesn’t end here. He poured into millions of young people who will carry forward the torch he lit. He built something that will outlast him, because it was grounded in faith, in truth, and in courage. And as his friend, I will never forget him. I’ll honor him by loving boldly, speaking truth without fear, and continuing his spirit of courage. His fight lives on in all of us who loved him.

This is an unimaginable loss. For me, for his family, for everyone who loved him, and for America. Rest in peace, brother. You will be missed more than words can ever say — but your legacy will never be forgotten and we will keep fighting the good fight.

You are 100 percent correct.

He was assassinated for talking.
Enough is enough

Same. I told others, this angered me more than when Trump was shot at. Why?

It's one thing to target a politician. The loon that does thinks he's stopping the Government in some bizarre way.

Charlie was not a Pol. He expressed his beliefs in open, honest, engaging dialogue with utter respect for all - even those on the other side of his viewpoint. And he was murdered for his beliefs.

This country was founded on the principle of Free Speech. This assassination was far more grave to me than killing a politician because it directly was an attack on Us. On our freedom to speak, to have our own opinions. It said to me, any of us who have a differing opinion are a potential target.

That to me is very, very grave and highly disturbing.

This feels personal. It feels like your brother was just murdered.

I am hardly a violent person. Own no guns. But for the first time I want blood.

As i posted in reply to someone on FB...

thing is, he would invite you to have a conversation about it. His whole thing was “change my mind.” Did he call for annihilating any race? Did he call for oppressing anyone? Seems to me he tried to get people to swim against the stream and not go with the flow.

I don’t doubt one bit that he said something that may have cause some eyebrows to raise. It’s what he did. But - at the same time, he would converse with someone about basically any topic. Change his mind via conversation.

Except now, it’s impossible.

Problem with killing him is that it now closes one avenue of dialogue. People could have watched his reels and come to a conclusion of he’s right or an idiot. But - he conversed. He exercised his First Amendment right to do so.

Someone removed that. Others may see this action not as shutting up an activist, but as an assault on 1A. Which it was, since Charlie wasn’t running for office and wasn’t a politician.

Your logic of approving of this man’s death indicates you’re ok with violence and political violence if it doesn’t agree with your line of thinking.

There’s 12 quadbillion people on this planet. Are you ok with killing all the ones who do not agree with you?

Authorities have recovered what they believe to be the firearm used to assassinate conservative activist Charlie Kirk, the FBI announced Thursday.

FBI Special Agent in Charge Robert Bohls made the announcement during a Thursday morning press conference at Utah Valley University.

The weapon "is a high powered bolt action rifle. That rifle was recovered in a wooded area where the shooter had fled. So the FBI laboratory will be analyzing this weapon. Investigators have also collected footwear, the impression of a palm print and forearm imprints for analysis," Bohls said.

"We are not sure how far he has gone," Bohls added about the assassin.

Utah Department of Public Safety Commissioner Beau Mason confirmed that the shooter appeared to be "of college age," but he declined to offer more identifying details.

Mason said footage from the campus showed the shooter climbed to the roof of a building overlooking Kirk's event. He then jumped from the building and fled to a nearby neighborhood after the shooting.

I don't want to be flippant, in fact I am just beginning to get over the anger, but a 200 yard shot is not hard. I took my last antelope with a 300 yard shot, no tripod. Still, based on the neck shot, you can bet this was a very experienced shooter.
Just because he was hit in the neck area doesn’t mean that was the target.

Just because he was hit in the neck area doesn’t mean that was the target.
I saw a video on X that appears to show the bullet bouncing upwards off the collar of his vest. Is that possible?

This one hurt. All of us. When was the last time you saw something like this. Open weeping.

Charlie Kirk was not a politician or running the government, he was just a guy with opinions. And the Left calls US the Fascists.

If this is true, the shooter is Tranny.

I saw the Crowder post but wanted more confirmation. Not sure this is confirmation. Like him, I trust Crowder, but this topic is needing diligence.

The war on Christianity and conservatism has been raging since the 1960s. They went from "We want a voice ,too!" to "We are the only legit voice" in no time. I have suffered under it in public education almost from the beginning of my career in the late 1990s.

A few years back I decided that I no longer care about the consequences of my thoughts, beliefs, etc., and I will speak out. So far, little has happened. I will now speak louder.

The cultural civil war now enters a new phase. Let's get loud, let's get consistent, and let's get very proactive about it, without regard for the consequences. Until then, the evil left is the winner.

They couldn't stand for a young cancer survivor either, because they can't see beyond their hate.
I personally know several individuals on the left that believe in their hearts that all Republicans should die in a fire.
I don't know any on the right, and honestly, I know more people on the right, that feel the same way about Democrats.
