JuJu had 78 receptions for 933 yards in 2022 and completely dropped off last year with 29 receptions for only 260 yards. New England has one of the worst set of receivers in the league so the Patriots weren't going to eat that contract unless JuJu couldn't perform.
Ju Ju was special when he was playing with a HOF qb, Had the Nfl's best RB in the backfield and the leagues best WR on the other side.
When the talent around him was gone he crumbled. Steelers need to consider this before trading for an overpriced Aiyuk. literally the same situation.
How good is Aiyuk without Purdy throwing franchise record yardage, without RB#1 in Mccaffrey, or Deebo and Kittle demanding coverage.

But they cut Juju. If he was their first, second, third, fourth best option he is not being cut. You can bring him in for a physical and a tryout if you like the guy. Chances are he is better then the worst receiver on roster now. But he is done.

I'd venture to say that it was cheaper to keep him than cut him. For 700k is cheaper than signing a vet WR.

No. Just No. He isn’t as good as he once was-and then at that, I thought he was ok, not flashy. The casual fan got hyped up about him being a social media presence. I wish the guy well with his life’s work. I think my old 1983 Ford Escort with the old 2.3l 4 banger with no power steering has more separation ability than Juju
