Thursday night Houston at Jets

weird call to geta 1st

Just because they ****** up on Pickens catch doesn’t meant they should **** up on that catch too🙂🙂

That was one hell of a catch!

They didn't mess up on Pickens. They specifically said it had to be 2 separate feet. Now with Wilson, they are saying that the foot and shin of the same leg count. I would understand if it was the knee. They always say that 1 knee = 2 feet so that makes sense. The elbow would make sense too. But the shin? That feels like the same thing as tapping the same foot twice. Stupid that one counts and the other doesn't.

Better for the steelers if Houston loses.

Houston lost Diggs for the season and are without Nico Collins. If they lose this one, maybe they're in the WR market.

Stroud is 8/19 so far

5 catches by Dell and 2 for their TE

there is not a whole lot at WR behind Dell

Collins is due back soon though I think

Hasn't a shin always counted as two feet?

It's a dumb rule. Pickens got two of the same foot down. Wilson did the same thing until 2 inches above his foot hit the ground and that counts as a TD, but Pickens didn't. They both should be TDs.
Is a calf the same as a shin as in if Pickens calf touched. Some of these rules are ridiculous.

I call it a mess up on Pickens. You call it what you want. Like the announcer said……so if you catch it and hop on one leg 10 times and go out of bounds it’s still not a catch? While it may be stupid…one shin has always been = to 2 feet?
The rules committee might be revisiting the wording on this baloney in the off-season.

6 catches for 126 yards is pretty solid

but their real #1 Collins should be back soon
Collins and Stroud have become one of the top tandems in the league. Dell sure competes those two.
I was hoping to see John Metchie play. He must be in the doghouse,I thought he would get an opportunity with their injuries
Had 3 catches last week.

He played. I saw him get one target, he was pretty open and Stroud over threw him by a mile.

This is my first time seeing a little bit of Stroud and I was impressed

Basically the rules are:
Two feet (but not 1 foot twice)
1 of any other body part except hands...

So i guess grabbing a ball on the 1 while on one leg and hopping 99 yards into the end zone then dropping the ball would not be a TD, just an incomplete pass ... but if a player leaps for a ball at the sideline, faceplants inbounds but the rest of his body lies out of bounds, it is a catch

Stupid NFL logic

I could very easily be wrong, but my O’l memory thinks that the rule has wording that the knee and shin are considered the same, as the Elbow and forearm are considered the same.

If not correct, I too see big wonkie in the ruling of TD last night.
