I live in Cincinnati. It gives you a far different perspective on things. Our bad is making or just missing the playoffs. Until the Chiefs got Mahomes their bad was worse. I am so sick of hearing about the standard falling. I lived through the 80’s and 90’s. Again, I would love to see us win another but I live in city that has never seen their team win one, ever. It makes you a lot more appreciative of what we have “suffered” through recently. I am 53, in 53 years we have had 8 losing seasons. We have been to 8 Super Bowls and won 6. Tomlin may not have won a playoff game in awhile but frankly I really can’t complain much. While I yearn for more I am not about ***** too much about only being competitive. It has been 22 years since I had to sit through a truly losing season. Yeah we have had heartbreak and disappointment but we have had far more than our share of winning. If Super Bowls were easier to win they wouldn’t be as special when you do. I don’t care who our coach is, until we have the right QB again it likely won’t matter. We need a more seasoned line for Wilson and more receivers.

and yes I get emotional during the games and sometimes lash out at people who are also lashing out. If you notice outside of gameday posts, I am usually quite calm and optimistic, politics aside. I just get violently optimistic during games. I refuse to get depressingly negative like some. It isn't healthy. I would rather annoy you with optimism.

Everyone has their way of being a sports fanatic.

Yeah, I've been hanging out here writing about almost every Steeler game since before this board started because I'm a troll. Why am I even bothering responding to you? I really must be in need of entertainment

I've not witnessed much actual Steeler history/knowledge from you. All I've seen is you downgrading fellow posters who I have contributed with for 20+ years. You are the definition of a troll. If you're not, go ahead and pony up 1 year subscription and I'll call you a fellow Steeler Nation Contributor and then I'll just talk trash with you. Otherwise, meh... Put up or shut up

In the 24 years I've been on this board JMM I have only put one poster on ignore. This douche canoe makes two. He/she offers zero, no, negative contribution to any conversation. It's a statical anomaly.

Cincy is a pretty decent city. It's no Pittsburgh but the driving is better most days. It is far better than Cleveland. The fans while annoying are more tolerable than Browns fans. They are less unrealistic and fade into the bushes faster.

Its a message board. When the team is incompetent, people are gonna gripe and vent. It is what it is.

I get that and truly understand it. But unlike you, there are a few who only ever gripe and don't ever say a damn thing anytime else. I get the anger; I don't get only being angry and never being here when things go well. We have butted heads during a game, but it is just raw emotion, and you also are also here for both good and bad. This NoKap#7 guy is just as bad as some as he seems to be antagonistic all the time. Even after the emotion of the game is over. I might agree with his sentiments more if he wasn't such an *** about it, he is as bad as the full-time haters.

I get where you are coming from but man you have to stop being antagonistic full time. Two wrongs don't make a right. I get pissed off at the negativity, but I get over it with the vast majority. we are all family here. Dysfunctional and argumentative but family. At some point you have to step back and think maybe I am part of the problem here. Be willing to self-analyze or back off a bit. I have had to do that.

And definitely far better than Cleveland, I’ve had the displeasure of being there too…and I’d have to be drug back there

Always had fun in Cincy, but if you ain’t having fun at a concert something is wrong with you. Not sure if me and my loud mouth would make it outta a Bengal game in one piece so never been to a football game there.
